“The Claymont Delaware Post Office is great. Friendly employees, easy free parking and always open during posted business hours. I drive from Aston PA and pass 2 other Post Offices just to visit this one. During the past few snow storms my 2 local Post Offices were closed. Especially the Aston location which always seems to open late.”

Everytime I visit a post office, it is always super crowded and I haven't visited this location in a long time. It was great to conduct my business and leave promptly without any hassle whatsoever. “Despite the odd hours, my wife and I have had great experiences at this location. They were helpful when our mail wasn't being delivered by telling us where to go and what to do. I was going to skip a package last minute and would've spent much more if the person at the counter hasn't told me about some of their other shipping options. While the odd hours can be a challenge occasionally and this location seeming to be the 7-Eleven of USPS in terms of capabilities, they've always been great and helpful.”

“Lots of confusion here with this annex and the building it's in. The entrance used to be through the front double door but it's now the single glass door to the left of the loading dock. No signage but I'm certain that the people working here do a lot to keep the mail running in this community.”

“Same problem as everyone else, but it's actually not the Post Office's problem. I spoke to a very nice lady there who has been dealing with this for eight years. My tracking said tracking says Departure scan en route to USPS, but the post office hasn't received it yet. it's still sitting in whatever Bridgeport UPS Innovations it arrived at. Very confusing, and unfortunate for the Post Office.”

This is one of the smaller locations so it doesn't take much to get crowded, but only two customers were in front. My transaction was quick, and I saved money on my package because of the postal workers recommendations. Thank you!”
“Service has greatly improved now that the lady who used to work at the Deepwater Branch is at the counter. How refreshing it is to just come in and set down my prepaid packages to scan and get a drop off receipt. No more dirty looks as soon as I walk in. No more lectures about the kind of packaging I use or if one tiny spot of tape isnt smooth. Amazing how hundreds if e commerce customers have never once complained about my packages being unsecured upon arrival. No more nasty, curt replies if I have any additional questions. No more witnessing other customers being spoken to in rude, condescending ways as I wait in line. Now the newer staff and the nice lady that recently transferred take my package, circle the survey, and wish me a good day. Going to the post office isnt an ordeal anymore.”

“I just had the smoothest experience I’ve ever had at a post office here. I went in for a passport renewal, and the woman who took care of me, Baseemah, was delightful. I made sure to make my appointment online so they were expecting me. I went right up and had no wait time. There was a question about whether or not my old passport was going to suffice for ID and she took the time to call and make sure it would be okay for me! It was a quick process, she was very helpful when I was filling out the paperwork. I was able to take my photo right then and there with her, and she even showed me the photo and asked for my approval. To me, the office staff had a friendly, family-style vibe. I truly appreciated the care and absolutely recommend coming here for passport services over going into Philly! In and out in about 30 minutes. Looking forward to making this our family go-to spot for passport services.”

“I had an urgent document to send out, and on Saturday afternoon I drove 30 minutes to reach this post Office location before closing. Unfortunately, by the time I arrived it was already closing time, and I hadn’t even prepared the envelope and return envelope. The lady at the counter kindly waited for me for another ten minutes and even helped me correct my mistakes. I’m truly grateful for her patience and kindness.”
“Whoever was working today around noonish was so wonderful. The post office only had 40 special stamps for our heavy wedding invitations so she input and printed 23 individual paper-stamps for the rest of the invitations so that we could get them sent out today. Thank you so much! I know it was tedious but you were a champ about it.”
