My GSD Luna was diagnosed with DM (Degenerative Myopathy) which is basically Lou Gehrig’s disease for dogs. There is no cure or surgery however the longer you keep your furbaby walking the slower the progression of the disease. When Luna was diagnosed it was recommended that we try Aqua therapy and acupuncture. We started Aqua therapy in January 2024 and met Dr. Kate and Jessica. In addition to utilizing the under water treadmill, Luna also gets a weekly massage, laser and underwear ultrasound. They both have gone over and above any expectations that we had. Researching and sharing articles about DM trials, holistic options, recommendations for harnesses, vitamins and supplements.
In addition to the all of medical support we LOVE the holiday photos shoots (each holiday they set up a photo booth with adorable props, hats, scarves and decor).
