“Honestly, there isn't enough words to describe how amazing this place is. Had an emergency where I had to rehome my cat before traveling abroad and it completely fell apart last minute. The Plainfield Area Humane Society helped in every single way imaginable, and were actually the only place that was willing to help in the area. Thankfully we did find a home for our kitty at the end of the day. Nevertheless, I couldn't be more grateful for all the wonderful people working there. Thank you!”

“I’ve had such good experiences here. They have pretty much everything I need for my pet sparrow, and probably just about anything you could need for other pets too. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, but my most recent visit really stood out. I ran in last minute and completely forgot it was Sunday, so they close earlier than usual. No one rushed me or made me feel like I was holding them up. They helped me just like they always do and made sure I got everything I needed. When I got to the register, the owner was counting out the drawer, and that’s when I realized they had actually closed about five minutes before I even got there. I felt terrible and apologized, but he was so kind about it and told me not to worry at all. He even said that if the doors had already been locked, he still would have let me in. As I was leaving, another customer was pulling into the parking lot, and instead of being bothered by it, the owner stayed by the door to welcome them in too. That really stuck with me. It says a lot about how much he cares about his customers and the kind of service they provide here. I wish I had gotten his name because he was genuinely such a nice guy. I would absolutely recommend this place, not only for the great selection of pet supplies, but for the people. Friendly, accommodating, and truly great customer service. Places like this deserve to be supported. This is the version I’d personally use for a Google review.”

“My family and I had a wonderful experience at Shake A Paw, mainly because of Brittany’s expertise and kindness. We walked into your store with heavy hearts because we had just lost our beloved Yorkie, and we walked out with a new puppy named Dexter. It was Brittany who made that happen. She is exceptionally knowledgeable about all the puppies in the store. As we began to focus on the puppy we named Dexter, Brittany gave us detailed information about his health and his heritage. She exhibited a remarkable combination of professionalism and friendliness, and she sealed the deal. We will forever be grateful to Brittany and to Shake A Paw.”

“I had an amazing experience last Saturday at Shake A Paw! A special thank you to Joyce for helping me choose the perfect breed, Christie for making the adoption process smooth and easy, and Charlie for helping me pick out all of the puppy essentials. Each of them was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure I had everything I needed. Thank you all for making bringing home my miniature poodle such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Shake A Paw!”

“We just adopted a cat from this shelter and couldn't be happier. The facility is very clean and well-maintained. It was wonderful to see that all the animals looked healthy and cared for. The staff, from the front desk to the person who helped us finalize the adoption, were all so nice and professional. Thank you for taking such good care of our new family member, Harmony (Eva).”

“This store is a gem: personal service, special orders available and small animal boarding when you're away. I'd much prefer to have this shopping experience than a large box store. My parakeet agrees.”

“My corgi, Winston, has been going to Woofgang since he was 4 months old. Gia is so good with him and always makes him look handsome with the perfect fluffy corgi butt. All we have to tell him is that he's going to see Gia, and he's so excited! He practically sprints from the car and tries to push his way into the back. Highly highly recommend.”

“Owner seems passionate! High quality selection for pets. I previously used a dry dog food for 7 years that was #1 rated by vets and even sold by my vet! I thought my dog was a rediculous shedder. Vacuumed daily.. My vet confirmed "some dogs do shed like that." This store owner had much to say about the "#1 vet recommended pet food" and explained I was starving my dog of essential vitamins. Now I have had dry dog food FROM food for 5 months and he loves it. His coat is nowy dog has a soft coat and sheds like a normal dog. Stores like these are great because they educate themselves on the products and sell what is proven to be good.”

“Visited this location this past weekend and had such a pleasant experience with my dog Dobby. As soon as we arrived, Michele greeted us and offered to help find what we needed. After mentioning that I was looking for a single protein food, Michele was more than well versed on letting me know what options were available and the benefits of each. Dobby and I left with products I can feel good about giving him, and I'm eager to see a positive change in his daily demeanor. Michele was not only incredibly helpful, but also extremely patient with my questions. Her willingness to listen to details about my dog's experience with other food to help provide the best recommendation was refreshing. We will definitely be back here soon.”

“My dog loves st Hubert’s doggy day care! We rescued her 3 months ago and she loves to be able to go play with her friends 1-2 days a week. When we pick her up she’s happy and tired. She loves to be able to run around in the dirt, mud, pools, and just have fun being a dog. They also post on their instagram each day so I get to see her playing with her friends!”

“Ok, now. I was nervous taking my anxious 90 lb pit to get his nails cut. But low and behold, Justine and Tanae were able to get my dog to calm down and get his nails cut. I was so surprised and grateful. I have found my puppies new nail groomers. Everyone should go to PetSmart in Union and ask for Justine and Renee, they are going to WOW you!!!”

“My dog has been seeing Ariel for quite some time now, and she is absolutely amazing! My dog gets excited every time we come in. Ariel is always patient, caring, and does a fantastic job with grooming. Unfortunately, my experiences with some of the other employees in the grooming department have not been as pleasant. I have found them to be rude and unwelcoming at times. If it weren't for Ariel, I honestly would have found another grooming location. She is the reason we continue to come back, and I truly appreciate the care and attention she gives my dog.”

“After reading about the reviews from them I was kind of hesitant to order from them. That just goes to show you you don't believe all reviews and I'm so happy I did order from them! My order came in perfectly. It was packed exceptionally well and all the items were way before the expiration date. The prices were beyond reasonable too!! I had a question and they responded within a day and a half. These people are extremely honest when it comes to shipping when they say it will take x amount of days most likely it will. They're shipping may be a little on the slow side for some people but if you want good quality service and people that will answer your questions these are the people to go through. I definitely will order from them again. Thank you pet Life for such awesome service !!!!!”
