“This was our third year hosting our annual luncheon at Spring Lake Manor. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel that the owner and his staff want to help make your event everything you want it to be. The event space is well appointed and spacious. Everyone who attended our event had only high praise for the food, space and the attentiveness of the staff. Looking forward to our next event there!”
“Cant recommend Silverball enough!! Retro arcade on the north shore brings everything you miss about yesteryear. Fabulous selection of games, along with historical facts and information. Definitely offers something for everyone!!”
“We went for the first time to get a Christmas tree. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not only did they help us find a tree, they assisted with family photos too! The trees were all wonderful, the set up nostalgic, and the cost very reasonable for the tree/experience.”
“We absolutely loved working at Eagle Oaks. The bridal suite is gorgeous with beautiful light for getting ready photos. The grounds are stunning. The outdoor ceremony space overlooks the course with tons of greenery in the background. The cocktail and receptions spaces are large and elegant. It's a perfect venue for your wedding!”
“This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever visited, flawless in every detail. I visited on a busy September weekend when moldy Manhattan hotels were charging $600 a night, yet James’ single room was just $210—without any hidden fees. How could anyone complain?
The beauty lies in its artistic harmony. We stayed in Room 2 on the ground floor, a room with a brown theme where the lighting and colors were simply exquisite—every photo is Instagram-worthy. Our window looked out onto a corner of the garden, almost like gazing at a painting. As night fell and the garden lights came on, it felt like watching starlit romance. Every inch of the space showcases the designer’s aesthetic touch, something you would only expect to find for $1,600 a night in Manhattan! (And as someone who just stayed at the St. Regis for that price, I can vouch for this!) Plus, they even offer breakfast!
The bathroom is pink and perfectly coordinated. I hadn’t had the chance to soak in a bath in three years, but here, I finally did. The bathtub was new and sparkling clean. Though the hotel dates back to 1904, it doesn’t have the kind of decay or “charmingly old” issues that you often find in Manhattan hotels. You can enjoy a bath here with peace of mind. Bath salts are also available for purchase if you want a stress-relieving soak. The lighting in the pink bathroom creates a soft brown hue—an ideal backdrop for capturing beautiful photos.
Beyond the thoughtful design of the furniture and color schemes, they also enhance the guest experience with nice touches like a refrigerator, bath towels, and even two cookies upon arrival, which made my son very happy.
If I had to list any downsides: 1) There’s no elevator in this old building, which might not be stroller-friendly, but I don’t think it’s a big deal; 2) The staff finishes their shift at 6 PM, so any requests after that might not be accommodated—luckily, we didn’t run into any issues; 3) Some garden features, like a fire pit, might not be available; 4) The location is in a residential neighborhood, not downtown, so there aren’t many restaurants or bars nearby, and the beach is more rustic, not as fine-sand as Asbury Park. But honestly, this hotel is perfect for unwinding and reflecting—its tranquility is unmatched.
If I were to rate it out of 10, I’d give it a full 10—it’s just perfect for me.
Nearby activities: I took my son to the playground nearby , he loves it ! That s one of the best in NY-NJ, the seagulls at the ocean are aggressive, not recommended if u go with kids
Food and drinks: They only provide breakfast, and in a residential neighborhood, not downtown, so there aren’t many restaurants or bars nearby, we ordered The Greek Spot from DoorDash , it s damn good as like in this hotel”
“I don’t even know where to begin. My husband and I got married at jumping brook on Saturday 3/23/24, and I have no words other than perfection. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. And it poured rain all day long and it still was the perfect day. Diamond and Lady were absolutely perfect. Our drinks were never empty whatever we needed they took care of. Everything was on time and on schedule. I would have my reception there over and over again. We got so many compliments on the food and cocktail hour. It was all flawless! I can’t thank Jumping Brook enough for giving Kenny and I the most perfect day! If you are considering booking here for your wedding, stop considering and book them now, you won’t regret it !”
“Visited this Elks Lodge for a model train show. It was a nice little event room. There was even a kitchen serving some basic food offerings. Again, a nice little space to hold an event or gathering.”

“We just had our 40th Class Reunion at the Waterview and had a fantastic night at this venue. Suzanne, the booking manager, was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. She was very accommodating and responsive. The main ballroom with the overlooking balcony was spacious and elegant. The passedhors d'oeuvres and buffet selections were all delicious. The pricing, scenic location and private parking are all perks that make this an ideal location to host events.”
“If you’re thinking about booking The Atlantis Ballroom as your venue, DO IT!!!! I literally cannot recommend them enough. LONG story short, we were two days away from our wedding and got a call our venue could no longer accommodate us. Realizing we had no time to panic and had to figure something out, my (now) husband suggested that we check out the Atlantis Ballroom because he’s been to several events there and they had always been nice. Not only were they able to make an entire wedding happen in just TWO DAYS notice, but they went above and beyond! Everyone we dealt with was so friendly. The food was AMAZING. Our cake was so cute! Literally everything was better than perfection. They had a huge supply of decorations/colors/etc. that we were able to pick for them to use to decorate the ballroom and for the cocktail hour. They also used some of our own stuff at our request since I already worked so hard on it. They were able to accommodate every single person who had a dietary restriction (keto, GF, allergies). We got married 3 months ago and every time I see anyone that was at our wedding, they rave about how it was the best and most fun wedding they ever went to! We wouldn’t have been able to do it without Jen and everyone else at The Atlantis Ballroom. There’s no way you’ll be disappointed in your choice by going with The Atlantis Ballroom for any of your events! I know I’ll definitely host any of my events there and I recommend to everyone I know.
Thank you again for making our wedding the most magical day ??”
“The Hall is in great shape, very clean. Kitchen is fantastic. They have a portable bar, very large room and a small room. In a very nice area, car park is fairly well lit and in decent shape. There are a few major potholes and they are marked off well. There is a canopy over the entrance that could serve for a valet spot.”
“We just hosted a baby shower at this venue and were so impressed with the entire experience. Seth and Pat provided us with an incredible event that all our guests are raving about. Their flexibility in allowing us to set up before the day of the event was priceless. The service we received during the baby shower from the bartenders to the servers was top notch. The food we were served was fantastic. The setting was warm and welcoming and we are so appreciative to all involved that helped make the special occasion such a success and beautiful memory for us.”
“9.17.20 Bday USAFLooking forward to doing what I can to help. USAF ?? I was warmly welcomed and couldn't ask for more of what appears to be real interest and leadership to help one another. THANK YOU for all,.ALL have done! ??”
“Got invited to a show last minute. Amazing venue. Small in a good way. Let's you feel part of the show and close. Ill be honest. Had no clue who the people I went to se before the show. After the show ive been listening to for the last 24 hours. Good location. Security was about expected. Checked bags but didnt go overboard. Bar was nice price. Food even better priced. Ill be back”
“The food was awesome. I highly recommend the Sea Bass. However the service was lacking and our server seemed uninterested in us and would disappear often, even though the place was only half full. And, for some crazy reason, they feel blasting music extremely loud and to the point you can't have a conversation with the person next to you is somehow equal to great ambiance.”

“Having a great time here. Came for a business trip and I really liked my room. It is very spacious, ean and quite. It has all the ameneties ypu can think of in a room. Great for long stays.”
“I recently had my husband's 60th birthday party in the Ballroom. My experience with Nancy & Beverly was to say the least outstanding. I had 70 guests rave about the food! I am so happy I chose to hold this special occasion with the Lobster Shanty. The whole evening ran like clockwork thanks to the staff. Their attention to detail was perfect. And many kudos to the bartender (Forgot his name) he was on his game and entertained the guests like a champ! Thank you so much to everyone that made this event happen for me! On a scale of 1-10 I would give you all a 20!!!”
