“Great service and very honest!!!!I bought my car to get an oil change and asked if they could check if I needed a tune-up as the car was getting fairly old, and I had yet to have one. I received a call back a few hours later stating the oil change was complete, and I didn't need a tune-up, as the sparkplugs are rated for 100k miles. Many places may have taken advantage of this situation, but not Bergen Tire. I highly recommend bringing your car there to get service, as they are extremely honest and provide exceptional service.Service: Oil change”
“My brakes stopped working completely on the highway. I almost crashed! I needed immediate repair and they were right on it. Only frustration was when I asked them to call a home phone not cell since I was going up into the Catskill Mts with no cellular service. There's no Internet either! I asked them to call to tell me the price before doing any work. I had to call to find out what was going on. Then AGAIN I called 10 minutes before they were closing. They never called me with any information about my car!!!! David said he called the cell. I told him all about not having service up in the mountains and to call the home phone! He said he emailed which I mentioned there was no Internet service too! So he had called the cell!!!!???? He said it went straight to voicemail so why didn't you call the next number that was the home phone then? Hence, with this lack of communication, they performed additional work on my car without consulting me first!!!! I didn't want to spend much fixing everything in a 22 year old car when I'm getting a new car in just 2 months! I just needed to get home from NJ to NY. Otherwise, I found the price reasonable considering the additional work and Gary the owner gave me a break with the labor charge. He was very nice and got my car repaired quickly. Very happy with what could have turned into having to stay in NJ somewhere waiting for my car. This disaster could have been so much worse but I was so relieved that my car was repaired and I was able to get home. Thank you Gary and your team!!!!Service: Brakes”

Told them I get free oil changes from car dealership but due to the trip, would they please check the oil & change it if needed? Another mechanic would've ripped me off, changed the oil, and charged me but Pry said no need to change it; I had another 2K miles to go. “No doubt the best auto shop I’ve used. I got a hole in my tire a few months back, and drove over to them with very low air pressure. I told one of the guys my issue, and he moved some equipment that he was using to fix my car right away. After no more than 20 minutes, he fixed my tire and I was back on the road. I can also confidently say that you will not find a better price for repairs. They deserve all the business in the world. Definitely go to them if you’re local!”
“Picked up some sharp debris on 287 and ended up with a flat tire. We were able to get to Dave's on the spare an hour before they closed. Because we had a long road trip ahead of us, they didn't recommend repairing it. Within 15 minutes they sold us a used tire with the same wear and we were on our way! Great service and nice people.Highly recommend. Pictured below is a container of debris they've found in tires from last year alone. ?”
