Bicycle Shops near Princeton, NJ

“I came in to buy a new chain after my old one snapped as well as buy a new set of brake pads. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helped me choose the right parts. Just installed both parts on my bike and it’s up and running great again!”

“Halter’s Cycles is by far my favorite bike shop in a 30 mile radius. The employees and owner take their time with you and explain anything you’d like to know. Their repairs and maintenance are on point and they fixed a pesky issue I’ve had with my bike. Much better technicians.

I bought a new road bike from Halters. Jason spent over an hour meticulously drawing frame geometry to make sure I bought the one with the best fit. When it arrived Don spent 3 hours fitting me - it’s amazing how many small adjustments I needed and it’s a world of difference on my new bike.

Highly suggest and recommend Halter’s!!!”

“I had such a wonderful experience at this bike shop! Sam and his staff are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely interested in helping their customers.

They took the time to help me properly fit the gear I needed for my bike as well as a comfortable, properly fitting helmet. What I appreciated most was that I never felt like they were trying to sell me things I didn’t need. In fact, they were very honest about what I actually needed and what I didn’t. It’s clear that their priority is helping people enjoy cycling safely, not simply making a sale.

The customer service went above and beyond. One of the staff members even brought my bike out to my car and took the time to teach me the best and safest way to load and transport it.

It’s becoming rare to find this kind of personal, knowledgeable, and honest service. I left feeling very well taken care of and much more confident about getting back out on my bike. I highly recommend Sam and his team!”

“Just bought a new bike from Bicycle Rack the other day. Justin was extremely helpful in matching me up with the correct bike I was looking for and did not try to oversell me on the initial accessories that I inquired about despite my current novice experience. Offered great advice for me who is just getting back into cycling after 20 + years. I would definitely recommend this shop based on my initial experience. I will definitely be a repeat customer!”

“Fantastic bike shop. Needed a tire tube replaced. The guys were really nice and educated me on why I possibly may need a new tire. They showed me all the corrosion and told me to be aware. I am new to biking so I will in the future get a whole new bike from them anyway. I did purchase a car bike rack; The gentleman took me outside to install the unit and didn’t even want me to pay for it first because he wanted to make sure it was a perfect fit. After he installed it, he showed me how everything works and then I happily paid for it. Really great experience and I will surely be back in the future for more items.”
