Nassau Animal Hospital: Villano Amy DVM
3440 US-1, PrincetonDr. Garruba and his staff have been taking care of my pets (one cat, two dogs) since 2010. My pets have always been treated gently and with compassion, and I know they are getting the right treatment. When our golden retriever was dying two years ago, Dr. Garruba came out to my car to examine him, and told me that the end was near. He recommended a service that does euthanasia in the home, which turned out to be the best way. If you're looking for a vet practice that combines good care and respect for your pets, this is the place.

VCA County Veterinary Hospital
4222 NJ-27, PrincetonThis is a great local veterinary hospital. You take our Labradoodle here and have been for over two years now. No bells and whistles or anything special about the place, just a comfortable trustworthy spot. Some of the nurses or staff are nicer than others but the main that is wonderful.

Pet Sitting & Training

Weber's Training School
3440 Brunswick Pike, PrincetonThis was the first time I had to board my dog. The folks at Webber's were very friendly and answered all the questions I had about the boarding procedures. They made me feel like they would treat my dog like part of their own family, which gave me peace of mind during my dog’s stay at Webber's. I would definitely recommend them for boarding and any other services they offer.

The Bent Spoon
35 Palmer Square W, PrincetonStaff are caring and ice cream is top notch. The ice cream is amazing and full of flavor. Not over sweet like most ice cream. Very rustic feeling inside the store. I had a cone of vanilla and raspberry but immediently my ice cream fell out of the cone. The staff were so caring and gave me a free cup of the same flavors I ordered.

Alfalfa
140 Nassau St, PrincetonCame in for dinner and ordered the Forbidden Salmon — Nordic sustainable salmon over organic forbidden rice with a massaged kale quinoa salad, roasted carrot and beet, spicy cashew crunch, and miso maple sauce. Fantastic dish. Everything tasted fresh and well put together.
The chocolate chip cookie was excellent — do not skip it. Kombucha selection was solid, service was attentive, and the pricing is reasonable for the quality you're getting. Would definitely come back.

Dvaraka Indian Restaurant
36 Witherspoon St, PrincetonWe’re longtime fans of another Pton Indian restaurant and ordered from Dvaraka the first time last night. This will be our new go-to for Indian. Hyderabadi lamb dun biryani was extraordinary and a great value, w/lots of lamb and wonderful cardamom-forward seasoning. Also exceptional were the Gobi 65, Chettinadu chicken and garlic naan that was notably more garlicky than that of our old standby. I can’t speak to Dvaraka’s consistency since I ordered only once, but this is the closest we’ve come in NJ to great Indian places in London like Masala Zone.

The Bagel Nook
301 N Harrison St, Princeton🥯 🥯 🥯 Located right off of Harrison St. in Princeton, the Bagel Nook is pumping out delicious bagel combinations and wild cream cheese options. It was our first time visiting and we were slightly overwhelmed with all of the options. We opted for an egg and cheese on hash-brown bagel, pork roll, egg and cheese on wheat along with a rainbow bagel with cream cheese. The egg sandwiches did take awhile but was ultimately worth it. It seems a lot of the negative reviews are focusing in on the service. We experienced friendly service, but we did note it took a while for two egg sandwiches. It would be nice to have these
options closer so we could try some
of the wild combinations like fruity pebbles, doritos, oreo cream cheese, and cheetos. The bagels were delicious - def woukd recommend!! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
