“Been a customer of Northfield for about 6 yrs now,and please be aware,Stay Far AWAY from this fraudulent Bank! I had 2 checks out on hold for reasons that was so outrageous , the 1st issue was the check I mobile deposited into my account had some type of font issue? Like really? So they found no issues and released it after a few Days,now the bigger issue,I deposited another check ,in person,cause the Northfield mobile app only allows I think around 2 thousand dollars and not a penny more which is outright horrible compared to other banks,so,they told me that the date on the check looked altered so it had a hold on it, let me explain,they gave my account a negative balance and also held money from my account that had nothing to do with that check which is %100 legit , so I was told they are going to release my funds in six days? Bottom line is they could hold your money anytime they want to a valuable customer, this is how you get treated!where to begin,I would like to thank the branch manager for fixing the issue I had the next day,and thank you for admitting that it was an error on Northfield side,with that being said, another issue just happened,I wrote my wife a check to deposit into my other account which is with a different bank,and the other bank told me that Northfield will not release the funds? So 1st Northfield put my account into a negative balance which I had no money to buy food for my new born and 3 yr old daughter,and now for the 2nd time they will not release my funds ,so therefore,I will not be able to pay my rent? When will it end Northfield? My apologies to Northfield for the 2nd issue I had,it was the other bank,also thank to Sabrina the branch manager at Northfield,very honest person. Update: I want to thank Sabrina Elson for the great customer service I've gotten for the issues I've had,she resolved all in a professional manner and I will continue to do business with Northfield Bank because of her, keep up the great work.”

“I have been with RSI for over 40 years. Still there now that it is Columbia Bank. I went there today not knowing what to expect, first time after the merger. Anna Bayate-Roberts, Assistant Branch Supervisor, who takes care of my business for over 3 years is still there! And still as wonderful as before. For me nothing changed, great service, not rushed, care about what you have to say, offers products she fells I could be interested. Thank you Anna, I appreciate so much your help today, you went out of your way to make it work. Bank has good rates, but there is nothing more precious than an employee like Anna. I went back on Thursday, brought in money from another bank and opened another account, and a safe deposit box. Experience was even better. Spend with me at least two hours, assisted me by arranging for my POA to go to Marlboro branch, he lives pretty far to come to Rahway Branch. All this with patience, kindness and high professionalism. Hurray for Anna!I also want to thank Monica who is attending Safe Deposit boxes at 1500 Irving St. Rahway, NJ, very helpful and sweet and professional. Thank you Monica, you were great!”

“Needed some cashiers checks, already had an account with them. Jonathan helped me out and finished the process super smooth and quick.They charge $15 per cashier check and you need to validate using your debit card and pin.Asked me to confirm the details on the device and printed them out. Then asked me to again verify before signing them. Then signed and gave me the receipt.”
