“Like everyone says, the gas is the least expensive in the area and possibly all of NJ.
The downsides are the long wait lines and terrible entrance/exit which are not designed with safety in mind but forcing many inexperienced and impatient drivers to drive on the wrong side of the road to enter the gas station. It can get chaotic during the peak times. It's best to go super early or late.”
“I recently joined Costco online and had to come in to have my account activated. I was told by a friendly man at the main entrance in a wheelchair where to go and then I went around to the right side. Then waited to be helped at the Customer Service counter. A nice man named Pablo helped me activate my account and made the process simple. Once I went into the warehouse, there were so many options to buy. Including alcohol. I easily spent over $300 & still could have bought more. That's how many options there were there.”

“Jason at the Costco Tire Center was extremely helpful in teaching me about the different tires, including which ones were on discount and which he would recommend. This initial process went smoothly until the tires arrived.
I’m docking one star from my review due to what happened next. After scheduling my appointment for 2:30 PM, I made sure to arrive a bit early to drop off my car. I highly recommend going with a friend or family member and just leaving your car instead of waiting around. My tire change wasn’t finished until 5:30 PM, and it didn’t even go into the garage until around 4:30 PM. Shouldn’t my appointment have been set for 4:30 PM instead of 2:30 PM? Based on other reviews, it seems this is a common issue. If Costco could adjust their appointments to allow for more buffer time, I believe this place would definitely deserve five stars!
Returning to the tire change, Jason was once again extremely helpful when I picked up my car. He pointed out that two end caps were broken (thanks for explaining what those are!) and noted other issues, such as scratches on my car. He also informed me to come back after 25 miles for a retorque and encouraged me to stop by if I encounter any issues. Thanks again for the great customer service, Jason!”

Today I went in to pick up some hair for me and my daughter's braids, hair gel, beads for decorating my hair. There is so much to see and each isle is stocked. “First of all, this Costco location doesn't sell beer, wine or liquor. That's due to outdated, protectionist, anti-consumer New Jersey State law. (While it's understandable that the owners of small liquor stores would worry about their businesses, a look at California shows that independent alcohol retailers still thrive regardless of competition.)Otherwise, this Costco offers all the benefits of any other location, a great variety of tasting samples and occasionally unexpected surprise discounts, at least if you haven't looked at their most recent circular. Of course, some values are better than others, so it still pays to do your homework around such issues as cost-per-unit calculations. (Yes, I am a nerd.)The staff has been pleasant when approached politely with an issue, and I've always had my concerns addressed in a timely manner. (Remember, they're people, too!) My one minor gripe is that the pizza department hasn't answered the phone when I've tried to call in an order, but I also recognize that they're extra busy and likely understaffed. Still, my kids love the pizza, and it's such a good price that the wait ends up being a small inconvenience. (See, small, independent pizzerias are still thriving in New Jersey despite the competition! And there are many other local pizzerias I count as my favorites and still patronize!)”

“Optical Services by Chris.We have gone to Costco, Lens Crafters, and a small shop within the Staten Island mall. Costco and Lens Crafters would not touch my wife's Fendi frames she owned. The small shop did, and my wife received them; they did not work correctly, and they stated that her prescription needed to be corrected, not the lens. We then went to BJ's and met Chris, and within a few seconds, he told us he could fulfill her prescription on her Fendi Frame. We waited while he finished up with another customer. During this time, I was looking at frames but wasn't there to purchase any due to just ordering my frames at Lens Crafters. Then I saw a deal to buy one frame, the second free, and found two that could work for me.While Chris helped my wife, I listened, realized Chris's knowledge and experience, and felt confrontable speaking to him about my two-frame going forward. At the end of the encounter, my wife had her frames ready to be processed, and I also had two pairs of frames processed. One frame was something I would have as a second pair, like the ones from Lens Crafters, and the other was a pair that Chris recommended for work only due to the amount of computer work I do, and progressives are the best type of glasses. I paid less than Lens Crafters for one frame with eyeMed insurance for the two I ordered at BJs. Granted, the frames are not Oakley, but the lens was much better on a few specs, such as a broader progressive angle and better-polarized transitions.The experience was so good we brought our two sons and purchased three more frames with Chris' help. We have all received our Glasses, and for every pair, Chris made sure comfort and proper expectations were done, and we are a happy family.”
