“There's actually a big store in there with many grocery and household items. Don't think of it as a Deli -- no prepared food except coffee. They have ice cream treats in a freezer up front, but no pints or bigger. The people are nice -- a little strict for good reason -- don't try to use a credit or debit card without ID. Having a party and need plastic cups: yes; making cookies and need more eggs: no.”

“I made a phone call asking for an item and the woman that answered the phone was so respectful and kind. I’m sure she gets multiple calls a day and if that were me I would not sound that nice. I was amazed! Whoever you are, keep doing what your doing because your doing it right.”
“I’ve always liked Five Below, and this location is still a fun place to shop, but I have noticed that not everything is actually “five and below” anymore. A lot of items are now $5.55, $7, $10, and even higher, which was a little surprising at first. I get that prices are going up everywhere and certain items cost more to make, but it’s definitely something shoppers should know before they walk in expecting the old prices.
With that said, the store still delivers a great experience. The layout is bright, colorful, and easy to navigate, and it’s one of the few places where you can find toys, candy, headphones, home décor, graphic tees, workout gear, and seasonal stuff all in one spot. Even with some items costing more now, the value is still good compared to regular retail stores.
The employees are friendly, and the checkout line moved quicker than I expected, even on a busy evening. I also appreciate that they keep the shelves organized and stocked—no digging through messy bins.
Overall, I’d give the store a solid four stars. It’s still a great place to grab fun items at low prices, just be aware that not everything is $5 anymore.”

“This store is the absolute best five below me and my kids have ever gone to. The staff made my children and I feel so happy to walk around and just look. We got asked if we needed help , if there was anything specific we needed. They even helped my daughter find a certain toy sold out EVERYWHERE!! shout out to Juju , Alyssa & Joseph best five below crew ever. Keep hiring people like this five below and you’ll never go out of business!! I will be back thank you guys !!”

“Really good for quick odds and ends that are cheap, charging cables or something like that. But recently I discovered they have a small but decent selection of Korean/Japanese snacks like ramen and chips. Obviously, Bergen county is among the better places to shop Asian products, especially Korean products, but it's worth it to stop here for a few bags of turtle chips after going to shoprite.”
