“I have a classic Movado watch that requires a jeweler just to open and change the battery. Bianca not only had the expertise to do that, but to see it wasn't the battery after all, and offered to send it for a repair estimate. A day or two later, the watch I was wearing lost a couple of hours (perhaps the stem was bumped?). I went back to change that second battery. They properly re-set it, saying the battery was fine. They wouldn't charge me for either assessment but could have charged me to replace the second battery without me knowing the difference. Maybe a small detail, but such expertise and ethics are precious. Bianca Jewelers' business approach is no doubt reflected in the quality of their jewelry as in their customer service. Would recommend them from baubles to batteries!”

“This is a super delayed, but much needed review. In August I brought my wedding dress to Sew Elegant with only 7 weeks to spare- so of course I was stressed. That first day the owner and everyone there handled my dress with such grace elegance and professionalism. The kindness that came from them made me feel so relieved and taken care of. Then I picked up my dress on September 21 and I could not have been happier. The hemming and bustle on my dress was simply perfection. Also, simple. Thank god I did not have a complex bustle- I don’t know if me or anyone could’ve dealt with that unnecessary stress on a wedding day. Since then, I’ve told the brides I know that they must take their dress here. There is no other place. I don’t even live in the city. I live outside and I made the journey to sew elegant. I promise it’s worth it. You won’t have any stress if your dress will be taken care- because it will be. Save yourself from the horror stories that are out there. If ever need something else hemmed or altered in the future- I’ll go here. But for now, I’m sending the owner a big virtual hug and one million thank yous -Olivia”

“It's a small store but they carried a lot of dresses I liked! I would highly recommend a visit to check out their beautiful (and relatively more affordable) collection plus the most amazing experience of trying on different dresses. Veronica was my very helpful consultant who somehow just knew what I would like when I came in for my first appointment :) We even got to try on some wildcard dresses and I learned what I liked and didn't, so it was such a helpful learning process for me. Veronica is very sweet and patient, and I would be so happy to work with her if I do decide on a dress from here!!”

“I went with Carol Hannah for my wedding dress and it was the best experience! From the first appointment to try on dresses until I picked up my dress (I went with Lavender Haze) a year later, working with Carol and her team was a delight. Carol herself was there at my first appointment, and she was so kind and helpful during the whole process. Her space is gorgeous: full of natural light and the most beautiful dresses and fabrics I've ever seen. The hardest part was actually settling on just one dress: she has created so many beautiful, unique designs that it was really hard to choose! Everyone I interacted with at Carol Hannah was kind, helpful, and friendly. I felt so beautiful in my dress on my wedding day. I strongly recommend making an appointment if you are shopping for a wedding dress and you want something truly special.”

We went to the Hanbok to select an outfit for me (the groom) to match my wife’s lehenga (an Indian traditional outfit). Jasmine and her team were so thorough in helping to coordinate the colors, accessories, and overall look for the wedding. My mother also rented a hanbok and she looked stunning as well. Not only did Jasmine create the perfect matching hanbok with my wife’s outfit, but she also ensured that my mother and I looked coordinated for the mother-son dance. We received so many compliments on the hanboks, and our outfits were the center stage of showing off our intercultural marriage celebration.”

“I had the most amazing experience this weekend at Bijou Bridal, and I truly cannot say enough good things about this place! For some context, I originally had five bridal shop appointments booked for this weekend, and after my experience at Bijou, I cancelled all of them. Despina was an absolutely fabulous stylist, and I am so thankful that I got to have my bridal dress experience with her. I only had to try on about ten dresses before finding my dress, and I found it in under an hour! Despina was incredible at picking out dresses that fit what I was looking for and helping me narrow down what I wanted. With every dress, I genuinely felt like we were getting closer and closer to the one, and she just completely understood what I need without me even knowing. I also want to give a special shoutout to Tanya, who was so incredibly kind and helpful. She was so sweet to my family and me and even gave us a discount and extended our veil discount, which was so appreciated! Overall, I cannot recommend Bijou Bridal enough for anyone looking for their wedding dress. Every person we interacted with was so kind, welcoming, and understanding. The entire experience felt so personal and genuinely felt like we were being welcomed into a family rather than just shopping for a dress. The day before our appointment she called me to confirm and thankfully reminded me they are now located in Hoboken, having previously been in Soho. I was able to try on multiple dresses in my time slot and Vivien was honest on her opinions and very conscientious to my budget. I was so in love with every single dress design, it was hard to choose. I would totally recommend an appointment with KF! The LIV line and their main brand are both stunning and have so many affordable options. My dress was around $3k.”

“I wanted to write a post wedding review of my Loulette dress. I was so happy with the fit! The fabric was so comfortable and I’m so glad I wasn’t standing around in uncomfortable, overpriced, polyester all day. I was hesitant with the price at first, but looking back feel it was worth every penny. What was extra special was that it was a windy day and during the first look before turning around, my groom saw my train flapping in the wind reflected in the windows he was facing. Almost made him cry before he even saw me and he definitely cried once he did. I was so happy with the service leading up to my wedding and am so grateful I went with Loulette now having gone through the wedding day. I would highly recommend Loulette to anyone looking to be comfortable with the fabric and fit on their wedding day.”
