“I have a classic Movado watch that requires a jeweler just to open and change the battery. Bianca not only had the expertise to do that, but to see it wasn't the battery after all, and offered to send it for a repair estimate. A day or two later, the watch I was wearing lost a couple of hours (perhaps the stem was bumped?). I went back to change that second battery. They properly re-set it, saying the battery was fine. They wouldn't charge me for either assessment but could have charged me to replace the second battery without me knowing the difference. Maybe a small detail, but such expertise and ethics are precious. Bianca Jewelers' business approach is no doubt reflected in the quality of their jewelry as in their customer service. Would recommend them from baubles to batteries!”

“It's a small store but they carried a lot of dresses I liked! I would highly recommend a visit to check out their beautiful (and relatively more affordable) collection plus the most amazing experience of trying on different dresses.

Veronica was my very helpful consultant who somehow just knew what I would like when I came in for my first appointment :) We even got to try on some wildcard dresses and I learned what I liked and didn't, so it was such a helpful learning process for me. Veronica is very sweet and patient, and I would be so happy to work with her if I do decide on a dress from here!!”

“I went with Carol Hannah for my wedding dress and it was the best experience! From the first appointment to try on dresses until I picked up my dress (I went with Lavender Haze) a year later, working with Carol and her team was a delight. Carol herself was there at my first appointment, and she was so kind and helpful during the whole process. Her space is gorgeous: full of natural light and the most beautiful dresses and fabrics I've ever seen. The hardest part was actually settling on just one dress: she has created so many beautiful, unique designs that it was really hard to choose! Everyone I interacted with at Carol Hannah was kind, helpful, and friendly. I felt so beautiful in my dress on my wedding day. I strongly recommend making an appointment if you are shopping for a wedding dress and you want something truly special.”

“This is a super delayed, but much needed review. In August I brought my wedding dress to Sew Elegant with only 7 weeks to spare- so of course I was stressed. That first day the owner and everyone there handled my dress with such grace elegance and professionalism. The kindness that came from them made me feel so relieved and taken care of. Then I picked up my dress on September 21 and I could not have been happier. The hemming and bustle on my dress was simply perfection. Also, simple. Thank god I did not have a complex bustle- I don’t know if me or anyone could’ve dealt with that unnecessary stress on a wedding day. Since then, I’ve told the brides I know that they must take their dress here. There is no other place. I don’t even live in the city. I live outside and I made the journey to sew elegant. I promise it’s worth it. You won’t have any stress if your dress will be taken care- because it will be. Save yourself from the horror stories that are out there. If ever need something else hemmed or altered in the future- I’ll go here. But for now, I’m sending the owner a big virtual hug and one million thank yous

“I was recommended Guillermo by a friend who had him alter her wedding dress 10 years prior to my own wedding. I was happy that he could alter my dress in such a short time frame. I felt very comfortable with him when we met, and I was thrilled with what he did to my dress, which was a bit extensive--I needed the sleeves, torso, and hem altered. The price was very fair, and he took care to make my dress look beautiful.”

“Harleen and her team helped me create exactly what I wanted for my wedding. I reached out to her regarding a customization that would blend my culture (Chinese) and my husband's (Indian). Her and her team were extremely receptive and were willing to incorporate the cultural details I wanted. It was easy to set up an in-person appointment to discuss things further.
Upon my first visit to the showroom my eyes were immediately drawn to the Ishita lehenga. From there, the style, design, and fitting team worked together to create my custom top with the Ishita fabric and embroidery. Throughout the process they were very communicative and open to design changes based on my preferences. I knew I wouldn't be able to get what I envisioned straight off the rack and I am so happy I was able to work with Harleen and her team to bring these ideas to life.
Even if you don't need or want something custom, I highly recommend going to Harleen Kaur. Their showroom has amazing pieces and the team is wonderful.”

“I wanted to share a review on Steven Birnbaum because I was prompted to make an appointment with them after reading a review left by another person. As the mother of the groom, I searched and searched for a dress but didn't want anything that was matronly or that had a lot of bling or lace. Their ready-to-wear dresses are beautiful with gorgeous fabrics but they didn't suit me as someone who is petite with no curves.
