“GIRLY and expensive. Good place for kids or teenagers who like K-pop singers logo goods or small Korean gadgets. Over priced but has decent foot traffic to non-Koreans and Korean kids alike.”

“Nice 2 floor store with plenty to see and buy. You can take the stairs to the second floor or if stairs aren't for you, there's an elevator.?? There is even a big retro NYC Lego Taxi you can sit in. Pretty cool photo props and ops!

BEWARE: No usable restrooms
A store that sells items for children through adulthood should have a public restroom. It's just common sense, especially since some people spend an hour or more there creating personal LEGO® products.”

“My boyfriend and I had the best time at Rumi's! Even though it was so busy because it was Valentine's day, Miles was extremely attentive and made the best recommendations! Would highly recommend Rumi's as a great date spot”

“I recently celebrated my birthday in American Girl NYC. I'm a young adult doll collector from Europe and I'd been dreaming of getting the full AG experience since I was 8 years old. It was all I had hoped for!!I went with my best friend and the service at the New York Cafe was brilliant— our server, Christian, was incredibly nice and fun, and made our inner child feel positively spoiled. A true professional! Special thank you to him and Keyshawn for singing happy birthday and making our experience so much better. I had an amazing time and made some lovely memories. Until next time, American Girl!”

“Just pickup from their showroom both my Valentine's Day gift bags and four animated Valentine's Day animals for my two.youngest daughters and my two granddaughters and in stock today. K Pop Demon Hunters Puzzle and Golden Concerts Twe shirts and next week pick up from their last shipments Kpop Singing Dolls and non animated K Pop dolls . Even though not made by Mattel they are good enough to hold my children interest until August 2026 when Mattel releases their version of Kpop Dolls. Everyone should be aware that thiS business kept it's word in both deliveries and retail price point . I say they are reliable and honestly business I would recommend. In two weeks I'm coming back from New 2026 Christmas Bratz Popstars dolls and New Rainbow High Bedazzled fold and for me two Sports Illustrated I door table active toys of Air Hockey and skeeball table units. table . Fantastic winter preorder price was $35.00 my cost was $20.00 each.”

“Love book stores which are virtually a relic of the past. A nice place to spend some time browsing titles. I was looking for books for our grandchildren. I noticed it was a draw for some neighborhood seniors as a place to cool off on a hot summer day while reading up on some titles.”

“This is a place where all your nerdy, anime loving dreams come true. Staff is very nice and helpful all the time. Overall a great place to shop for your nerdy/geeky crafty needs.”

“NYC's longest running board game & rpg shoppe (I think, my research is minimal on this) is literally floor to ceiling games. You can find not only new release, but titles from decades ago among it's packed shelves. This place is truly worth a visit when you are in Manhattan.”

“Absolutely amazing toy store located right at the Rockefeller Building. Spanning across 2 floors, this outlet attracts mainly families, young adults and tourists from all over the world. The Jellycats are the obvious attraction for plenty of visitors here as they queue for a specialized experience with their soft toys with an even greater selection at level 2 available. There’s also a build a bear section, barbie doll, star wars, Pop figurine, magic cards and more cool items which brings you back to your childhood. Prices are steep and be prepared to spend on these unique and somewhat limited edition toys - you don’t see these definitely in other countries easily or at other toy stores here, at least I have not! Staff are all dolled up to the occasion, very interactive and really engages the crowds very well with their toy demonstration or simply being a an on-ground ambassador.”

“This store may not have the largest footprint, but they make excellent use of the space they have. The walls are filled with well-organized displays and eye-catching box sets, and a few larger LEGO builds are showcased throughout the shop. Overall, it’s a fun and worthwhile stop for both locals and visitors.”

“One of my favorite places in the whole world. An art store for the community run by artists ? Everyone always talks about places that are long since closed but I remember them all and A&C is like what if they were kind and welcoming, too.”

“Excellent engaged staff. Finally have Starbucks and B&N fully integrated. Sorry to see the loss of a floor. Loved how they got me a book I needed in a day or two that Amazon -didn't have...and no pressure to buy it. So, i read 1/2 in the store and enjoyed it enough to take it home. Great experience!! Pleasantly surprised!!!”

“I love that B&N is pet friendly. It's a great place to visit, browse for my next read, and take the fur-baby for a climate controlled walk through the aisles. If you or your dog get thirsty, you can stop at the Starbucks in the store for a drink and sit at the cafe tables or comfy chairs. My dog loved her pup-accino. Side note, taking a dog to such locations is also great for dog training, provided you hold the leash tight and remain aware of other dogs and people/children who may be fearful of dogs.”

“Took my son here for the first time, he has been asking me since he saw their table at NA day event. He’s very into Pokémon cards right now. As we were browsing one of the gentlemen gave him a Halloween pack right away. We bought 3 packs and had a good conversation. As we were about to leave the 2 guys gave my son a whole stack of holographic cards for free. There ended up being a holographic gyrados in that stack of cards and my son has been hoping for that card in every pack he opens, it made his day. Great customer service and highly recommend. Great people. Thank you again!”

“We ordered Curved Organic Balloon Columns in our school colors, and the name of our school, for our Gala and they were absolutely perfect! In fact, they were better than we could have asked for. Thank you so much to Tiffany and the Balloon Saloon team for all of your help! Tiffany, specifically, was fantastic and got to our order inquiry promptly which was greatly appreciated as our event was fast approaching. We will certainly work with Balloon Saloon for future events!”

“Great local comic book shop in the fashionable Greenpoint Williamsburg area just a few minutes from a subway station.

The shop is not large but full of back issues as well as newer comics, cards, and toys.

I come mainly to chat with the friendly staff and use their very convenient comic book pressing service !”

“An absolutely magical experience! The Disney Store in NY is full of charm, great merchandise, and friendly staff. From classic characters to the latest favorites, there’s something for every Disney fan.”

“Cool game store. Really nice dudes at front counter and very courteous. Be advised NO WARHAMMER and no model glue. They have paint but again it’s not Citadel. However, lots of board games and play space in the rear. Seems cool but needs the 40K to make me a common.”

“Biggie's is great! The owners are super lovely and run it themselves. Their dog, Biggie, is super cute. Often there's people playing chess outside- it's pretty rad.

Inside is a vintage lovers paradise, or more specifically, a vintage smokers dream. They specialize in refurbishing old lighters, ash trays, and smoking sets. Trust me, they're awesome. If you're not a smoker, they have old magazines, game sets, and old-style soda. If you'd like to become a smoker but are scared, they have candy cigarettes. Sick!

Anyway, I like to pop by whenever I'm in the neighborhood. You should pop in, too.”

“Absolutely our favorite toy store. Excellent curation. Wonderful thoughtful for our daughter. I only wish they opened up earlier on the weekend, because 11 AM is a bit late on a weekend (I’m sure they’ve done the analysis though).”

“The place is stock with a variety of Smiskis at some of the best prices I’ve seen in the city. The vibe? Imagine rummaging through a collector’s garage. The staff mostly looked like they’d rather be napping (shout out to the friendly staff in basement) If you are still on the hunt for Labubu, you’ll feel right at home.”

“Very well stocked toy store with reasonable prices and very friendly staff. It is a toy store as we know it from earlier times and, in contrast to Schwarz, for example, a place where children can look around and choose something at their leisure.Among other things, there are board games, outdoor games, reading books, craft materials, Lego, Brio, Jelly Cat and many other brands.A little away from the tourist hotspots, you can shop like real New Yorkers here and combine this trip with Central Park.”
