Amazing place offering so much! Dried blood cell analysis has helped my family and myself get healthy again. Ionic foot bath, allergy testing, ear candling, massage, Reiki and more. Beautiful selection of crystals with many unique gift ideas. The staff is wonderful and Dona, the owner, is brilliant. She takes the time with you until you feel better. All natural and clean products. Highly recommended to all that are sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I had been a client of Dr. Dona Garofano since 2009, she had helped me and my family throughout the years to achieve optimal health. I love that she is available to answer questions for myself and family members whenever a healing crisis does show up. Very grateful we have her nutritional expertise and knowledge and she provides a community with access to superior nutritional products. I also take advantage of all other services that are available in this family friendly store.

I am so appalled at the way my sister and were treated in this shop today. My sister bought several of their crystals and as we were exiting redid her calculations and felt she was overcharged. So we went back into the store and explained that she had been overcharged by $10. Honestly, no big deal as we all make mistakes. However, the woman with short brown hair that was working behind the counter immediately got defensive. She started saying things like tax was higher on the bigger piece my sister got (but wouldn’t tell me what it was or why). So I showed her on my phone how she should have only charged $53 instead of $63. She didn’t give my sister a receipt so she went back into the register to look at the tape and while still saying she didn’t overcharge, then says she double charged for the bracelet (which was $8). She tried to give us $7 and I said no, I wanted the $10. She then tried to give me $8 and once again I said no I wanted the $10 that my sister was overcharged. Well, that set this woman off! She ripped the $10 bill out of the register and threw it at my sister, started leaning closer and screaming at me, and punching and slamming her fist on the counter. As a retail manager myself I would NEVER allow one of my employees to speak to a customer like that nor act in an aggressive manner towards them. And if I did that? I would be fired on the spot. This is unacceptable and abusive behavior. When I asked for her name so that I could address it with the business privately, she refused, turning her back on me, and answering the phone. When I called later to find out when the owner of the store would be in, she refused to give me the information. I am literally still shaking, an hour later, because of how I was treated. I always like supporting smaller businesses but I will never come back to this store and will be sure to warn others about how customers are treated there.

I will never return here ever again. Beware of the nasty cashier with the very short hair. She overcharged me by $10. When my sister tried to bring it to her attention she immediately got defensive saying she would never overcharge someone. After doing the math, she realized her mistake, started SCREAMING at us and began to PUNCH the counter. She then took the $10 out of the register and proceeded to throw it at me. She also refused to give us her name. I have worked in retail my whole entire life. I would be out of a job if I not only screamed at a customer but started pounding on the counter on top of it all. My family, my friends and I will never shop here again because that is NO way to treat a customer.

Food for Thought is known to locals as "The Health Food Store". It's the place people go when they want advice for going Gluten Free that is beyond their doctor's advice, "Google it". Or, they want information on a myriad of dietary and health related questions. Dona Garofano, ND is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and kind. She reads the dried blood samples of her clients with accuracy; and helps guide each person to lead the best life he/she can. If you think you could be a better version of yourself, call Food for Thought (Bonnie will usually pick up the phone - another caring woman who makes The Health Food Store feel like home) - make an appointment with Dr. Dona and give the place a try. Everyone theire will do her best for you.
