114 Beach St, RockawayI traveled from the Upper East Side to Rockaway for a private training session with Rob and it was worth every penny. Rob was incredibly kind, patient, and completely transformed both my life and my dog’s.
My miniature poodle had major issues with leash pulling and reactivity (especially towards squirrels). During our session, Rob took us to a local park to work through distractions in real-time and showed me skills to fix the problems we were having.
Thanks to Rob’s guidance, I no longer dread daily walks. My dog and I have gone from sticking strictly to the same block to exploring the city for hours without pulling, barking, or stress. I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my little guy!
Rob, thank you. You didn’t just train my dog—you gave me back the joy of being a dog owner.

173 US-46, RockawayDarren is a very good IPO obedience trainer! I have worked with Darren with my two German Shepherds in the sport of I.P.O and one has a B.H and one that is far less advanced. Darren's love of dogs comes across in everything he does! He is not only very patient and knows to "read" dogs, but has exceptionally good people skills in working with the owner as a coach in guiding the owner along. So there is training the dog and there is training the owner and I think real skill is required to bring a person along and communicate good timing, good motivational obedience methods. He is very fair with his prices and with his time. Overall, I couldn't recommend a more honest, straightforward person to deal with.

They immediately reached out to me when they noticed that my senior dog who has hip dysplasia was having issues walking on the floor. They provided him with personalized one on one care which I very much appreciated.

The ladies that run the shop are all super friendly and I have never had a bad sandwich from here. The bread is soft and fresh and the roast beef is always perfect. If you're in Rockaway and need lunch, definitely stop in here!
