Ramada by Wyndham Rockaway offers overall good value, with by far the best rates. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and exemplary. Rooms are extremely clean and stocked with extras, though the property needs a face lift and furniture has seen better days. Beds are comfortable and okay. Breakfast is decent but small, with only two cereal choices, though pancakes or waffles are rather good. Minor issues include doors that stick and a lack of in-room refrigerators, though staff assists with storage. Room service needs serious improvement, but the location is good and the hotel is free from common troubles, making it a highly recommended stay.
Very strange motel. Got thrown out for smoking in the designated smoking areas. Staff does not speak English and I found two cockroaches in my room. The manager kept insisting we had more than 2 people in our room. Not worth the money. Very negative experience.

It was a good experience. Comfortable room with large fridge, hair dryer, coffee-maker, TV, comfy bed... but no microwave. Staff were very helpful... taught me where to aim the remote for the TV.
