“Bottom line.. George is the best! Brought the ole' Gov'y beater in for a total front and back brake and rotor job - Brought it in at 9am, out by 1:30.. Total professional!! With SO many shops in this area, I can assure you some are shady and will rip you off! Knowing this and knowing that he can milk the gov't as places will overcharge you, not George. He's as honest as honest Abe was... Well, that may be a bad metaphor, but you get the point... Fast, friendly, kind service! Very highly recommended! Thanks George!”
“I wanted to write this review to say what a great guy Mike the owner is. I went there with my Infiniti QX60 do to a sound I was hearing in the engine. He went for a test drive with me and gave me his honest professional opinion, then proceeded to help me see if I had a warranty so I wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket. I did through Infiniti. He did try to scam me or take any money from me in fact he was a genuinely nice guy who did nothing but help me and saved me thousands of dollars. Great guy!!!”

“They are the best around. My parents have known Billy & Bobby since high school and they are always very straightforward and quick. They let us drop our car(s) off with a bit of a warning whenever we have a problem just to take a quick look at it. Price is always super fair, way cheaper than the surrounding mechanics in town. A couple years back we had gone to a different mechanic in town and everytime our car left that shop there was “a new problem” and we’d have it back in the shop a couple days later. Nothing sketchy like that ever at Cranford Auto Repair! Trust is integral between a mechanic and their customers.”
“An excellent mechanic. My car is a Nissan and I took it to Nissan to have the repair it and they kept on tellling me nothing was wrong. However, I felt there was something wrong with the car so took it to Cesar. His Dad (Cesar Senior) drove it and diagnosed immediately what the problem was. They fixed it and it runs good.”

“Faiti is the specialist that helped me out in a last-minute crisis I had. On the way home from New York to Maryland and I thankfully broke down three minutes before his shop. I was able to get my car in and he was able to help me fix my alternator that needed to be replaced. “I worked with Sal at Fanwood Transmissions to figure out a noise my 2004 Honda Pilot was making that no other shop could seem to figure out; and the green D light was blinking on occasion. Sal definitely knows transmissions and was able to tell me what was causing the noise (exhaust system) and replace the part in the transmission causing the D light to blink instead of having to replace the whole transmission. Sal is fair in what he charges and honest. I highly recommend Fanwood Transmissions for all your transmission needs!”
