“I went to 3 different transmission shops before deciding on this shop! I'll start with this: the difference in price from this shop to the highest quote I got was $6,145. The difference in price to the second shop was $2,400! Needless to say, this shop is very affordable! Second, Mike (I believe is the owner) great communication, flexibility, explanation of everything and accommodating. Sean (I think this is how you spell it), the mechanic was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, gave his professional opinion and advised us on what to do as far as caring for the transmission going forward. I highly recommend this shop or at least go speak to them before making a final decision! 5 STARS! I'll be taking my mom's car there and my boss is also in line for taking his car there soon.”

“We trust Craig and his team at AAMCO with all cars. We chose them again and again—even my kids who are out of state keep coming home to bring their cars to Craig—fair pricing, straight talk, no nonsense. We drive some old cars and something is always going wrong but the guys at AAMCO keep them running, safe and reliable.”

“They are the best around. My parents have known Billy & Bobby since high school and they are always very straightforward and quick. They let us drop our car(s) off with a bit of a warning whenever we have a problem just to take a quick look at it. Price is always super fair, way cheaper than the surrounding mechanics in town. A couple years back we had gone to a different mechanic in town and everytime our car left that shop there was “a new problem” and we’d have it back in the shop a couple days later. Nothing sketchy like that ever at Cranford Auto Repair! Trust is integral between a mechanic and their customers.”

“Eric did an excellent job fixing my old car with reasonable price. He carefully diagnosed and repaired the noise issue, took care of the painting, and addressed several other problems to make sure the car was in good condition for sale. Thanks to his thorough and professional work, I was able to sell the car with confidence, and the car is still in good condition. I really appreciate his honesty, attention to detail, and reliable service, and I would highly recommend Eric to anyone needing car repairs. -Mary Y.”

“An excellent mechanic. My car is a Nissan and I took it to Nissan to have the repair it and they kept on tellling me nothing was wrong. However, I felt there was something wrong with the car so took it to Cesar. His Dad (Cesar Senior) drove it and diagnosed immediately what the problem was. They fixed it and it runs good.”

“Carmen’s has been my go-to shop for a while now, and they’ve always treated me right. Their pricing is fair, and they’re upfront about what needs to be done without trying to upsell anything. They’ve handled multiple jobs for me across a couple different Hondas, and the work has always been solid. The team is helpful, knowledgeable, and they get the service done in a timely way, which I really appreciate. If you want a reliable local shop that you can actually trust, Carmen’s Honda is a great choice”

“I had an amazing experience with Jose at S&A Auto Center after my car was involved in a minor accident. He was extremely professional, efficient, and communicative throughout the entire process. I dropped my car off at 8am and it was ready for pickup by 3pm the same day, which truly exceeded my expectations. The pricing was very reasonable, and I have to say—his shop is by far the cleanest and most organized mechanic shop I’ve ever seen, hands down. That alone says a lot about his work ethic and attention to detail. Jose has definitely gained a new loyal customer. Highly recommend!”

65 South Ave, Fanwood NJ 07023
“I worked with Sal at Fanwood Transmissions to figure out a noise my 2004 Honda Pilot was making that no other shop could seem to figure out; and the green D light was blinking on occasion. Sal definitely knows transmissions and was able to tell me what was causing the noise (exhaust system) and replace the part in the transmission causing the D light to blink instead of having to replace the whole transmission. Sal is fair in what he charges and honest. I highly recommend Fanwood Transmissions for all your transmission needs!”

“I had been searching for a specific truck for about a month and Genesis had one. I had previously tried to work with several other big name dealers and was treated very poorly and they tried to scam me in many ways. Not Genesis, they treated me well start to finish. I felt so comfortable with what they were telling and showing me that I took a 7 hour train ride to their shop to buy the truck. I looked over the truck, we took a test drive, No BS, no pressure, no hidden things, just how buying a car used to be and should be. My wife will be looking for a car in about 6 months and if they have what she wants we will be making another train trip. Thank you for showing me that their are still people out there with a little humanity.”
