“This is a review for the bar. Although I’ve recommended the hotel to out of town friends because it’s so special. They are on point with all details and it’s absolutely stunning. Fun crowd in the main and restaurant bar, great service and fun ambiance. The hotel has bikes out front a cart to Bergdorf’s. I’ve had dinner here before and both experiences were stellar. Love the outside seating area and terrace too. Oh and you can get your hair done,”

“Our penthouse stay was an extraordinarily experience! The rooms were clean with marvellous views. It’s right in the middle of all the action but the night was very quiet and we slept really well. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely luxurious place with great service,But the problem for me was that they don’t serve coffee and sweet for customers (.The barman advised me find coffee in the street))). It was funny.”

“My wife and I had High Tea at the Whitby. The bar area where we had tea was quite nice. We had drinks at the bar while waiting for our table. The bartender was attentive and spot on with our drinks. Kudos. The only downside, we waited an extra 20 mins past our reservation time. When I asked a staff member about the wait, she acknowledged what I said, then continued to fold napkins. WTH! I then talked to the hostess who apologized and immediately got us seated. Tea was great, the service at tea was also great, but the napkin folder was ridiculous...New York City, what are you gonna do?”

“There is Carnegie Hall next to it and it is a bit narrow for 4 people. The service lounge meal was surprisingly good. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and nice, so I would come back again.Rooms: A bit narrow but decent room”

“You can think of it as a hotel in the 2Times Square building. The advantage is that the location is great, so you can go anywhere by subway, taxi, or walking. There are many small stores, restaurants, and places to shop nearby. The lobby is on the first floor, so go up and take the elevator again to your room. The upper floor has a restaurant, a tourist information table, and a place to eat breakfast.?I would describe the reception staff as a bit rough. It's a pity that the way of speaking or intonation is not refined.?The biggest drawback is that the room is not soundproofed at all.I can hear conversations and TV volume clearly in the room next to me. Free water is provided on the first day. Room cleaning is okay.I think this is a decent hotel where a family of four can stay in the heart of Manhattan. I can't strongly recommend it. not too bad”

“Staying here for a week, my partner and I have a had more than a pleasant experience. Our first room was not what we expected, and after bringing this up with the receptionist, they transferred us to a room we were more comfortable in.Housekeeping did an excellent job - particularly in replenishing our toiletries and amenities on a daily basis. There is a gym on the fourth floor, and on the third there is an unlimited supply of tea and coffee, as well as a small workspace. The location is brilliant with many restaurants and Central Park in walking distance. It’s just off of a main road but the noise of traffic is not apparent.”

“Loews Regency epitomizes elegance and hospitality. The service does not get any better. The moment you pull up, in your car or cab, there is someone immediately welcoming you and greeting you. Check in is most efficient and seamless ... and the rooms- clean and very spacious! Hats off to the housekeeping team! It's not just the initial welcome, come back from any activity or stroll in Central Park (around the corner) and once again the greetings and welcomes abound. This property and the staff know how to combine comfort and class. The best place to stay in NYC. To add, we have stayed her on multiple occasions and have found this excellent level of service to be true each and every time! Shout out also to Isaac who always makes you feel right at home. He is such a hard worker and greets you with a welcoming smile every time! The staff here is genuinely nice and caring. Juan, Robert, Abdul, Angelina, Bill, (can't recall all the names), but each and every one go above and beyond to ensure your stay is excellent. They all have such kind spirits. We are most thankful for them all. Nothing beats being remembered upon return. We are always greeted with a "welcome home" or "welcome back"- such a refreshing touch!”

“Ideal location to discover New York for the first time. Spacious room, coffee machine and small fridge, ATM, inside the hotel. Little Hudson or city view. No worries about crowds at the elevators. Reception staff who speak French. An Angelina opposite for breakfast, a small store at the foot of the hotel for small purchases. Metro 3 min walk. Very close to Time Square and Broadway.”

“Bellmen were awesome!!We were told we had a 6th St view when we made our reservation several months ago, and were given a room with NO view.... literally, our "view" was pipes and an a/c unit!We couldn't see anything outside! We were turned away for breakfast at the main restaurant at 10:20 am when breakfast was served til 10:30 am.We asked for washcloths several days, and each time were only given 2. We had 3 of us in the room. The bar was very busy at 10:55 pm on a FRIDAY night and we were told it closes at 11. They said we could get a drink to take to our room. The bar also did not offer coffee for my drink (I wanted an Irish coffee) on a cold night. I thought that was odd.Beds were super uncomfortable (super soft mattresses and small flat pillows).”

“Hotel Belleclaire is one of my favorite hotels! I love staying in the UWS for a more local feel. It's still very accessible to other areas in the city, plus I can walk to Central Park. They have a delicious French bakery and a great new bar & restaurant. The rooms are spacious and clean. Very charming hotel!”

“I have not been inside The Mark bar ever until today to pay for my hot chocolate. It's very pretty inside! They Have a cart outside that sells Hot dogs, chicken and Hot chocolate with a Chocolate Marshmallow YUM! The Hot chocolate itself was rich and very good! Just the way I like it. The marshmallow melted too quick before I could try it but, I am pretty sure it added more of a chocolate taste to it. 100% recommend trying The Mark Hot Cocoa!!! The service was fine the guy and lady helping were nice.”

“Been coming here for awhile, it's a very local crowd but the booze is a good price, the roast beef dinner is fabulous and the atmosphere is typical bar. Come for a drink and a pizza and you will be very happy.”

“We had a family trip for a week to New York, our adult son was with us. We had the suite with 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub, one with shower, very good water pressure) and kitchenette and it was sufficient space for all three of us. They were sufficient towels, pillows, blankets. The suite was very clean. Mattress is very good, our son slept on the sofa which is actually becoming a full size bed, he said it was comfortable. There is a kitchen table with 4 chairs and one armchair. There are 2 TVs, good WIFI, the windows can be opened 4-5 inches so we had fresh air, we could control the suite temperature as March weather has very variable temperatures. They should add more photos on the site, I am writing all these as I was not so sure if the suite will be comfortable for three adults. We had sufficient space and felt very comfortable. I know that some people are saying that the furniture is bit outdated, but we are not fussy, everything was functioning properly and it was clean and that matters for us. Highly recommend it!Nearby activities: Broadway theatres are at close distanceSafety: It is a very safe area”

“A very clean hotel, good location and excellent customer service from its staff. Bilingual Spanish - English.... Maybe they have staff who speak other languages.A special thank you to Carol who welcomed us and clarified all our doubts on our first visit to this hotel. This could be a perfect hotel but it was missing a couple of things that could surely improve. The only negative details to highlight would be that the trash cans are very small in the rooms & bathroom, there is no microwave in this one so you have to go down to the reception and heat your food in the dining area, parking is NOT free like this You have to pay $14 dollars per night and it doesn't have a pool.Rooms: They need more trash cans or one larger than what they have in both the room and the bathroom.Food & drinks: The breakfast is very basic, it could be better and have better variety but take advantage of the fact that it is free”

“Great location. Walking distance to almost every attraction in midtown. Right next to all broadway theaters I can think of. Staff are helpful and friendly. The room is spacious enough for a manhattan hotel and house keeping is good too. And there’s a chance to get a little bit of the city view. The only letdown is only 2 bottled water were complimentary no matter how long you stay. Overall it’s a great place to stay.”
