What really stood out was Katherine’s positive attitude and genuine care for the guests. She always greeted me with a smile and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. You can truly tell that she takes pride in her work and cares about providing excellent service. Katherine made my stay much more enjoyable and is exactly the type of employee every hotel should have. Marriott is very lucky to have her on their team. “We stayed at the pearl hotel over Labor Day weekend and had two rooms reserved for 4 people. The rooms were huge by Manhattan standards, clean, and comfortable. The really outstanding part was the service. Samantha from the front desk helped me with a hiccup in my reservation that would originally not allow the other guests arriving before me to check in under my reservation. She talked me through changing reservations on the phone and reassured that check in would not be a problem for the other guests after the change. Everything went smoothly and we had an amazing time while we there. Would definitely stay here again if looking for an accommodation near Times Square while still having comfort and quiet to recharge for exploring the city. Thank you!”

“Definitely a nice little hotel in midtown. Staff was great and professional. Fresh coffee 24/7, a plus! More great food in a square block than I could eat my way thru in a week. A note: the hotel is more like staying in a small European hotel. Small rooms, exceptionally clean and they left all the heavy plaster walls intact between rooms so extremely quiet. There is only one elevator but it wasn’t a problem. I would stay here without hesitation next time we’re in Manhattan.”

“The Whitby is a great option for business travel, with a convenient location and excellent service. That said, at over $1,000 a night, I expected a bit more from the rooms. They are relatively small for the price, and the bathrooms feel somewhat outdated compared with other luxury hotels at this price point. Overall, you’ll love staying here, but it’s pricey and there’s competition.”

“Absolute perfection! Stayed June 11th through the 13th. When we checked in we were told that our room had been upgraded to the Central Park Suite! It was such an unexpected surprise! The room was amazing. Such a breathtaking view. Pictures don't do it justice. The customer service leaves nothing to be desired! From housekeeping to room service and front desk responsiveness. The food is Devine! Whether in room or in the restaurant is absolutely amazing! The spa was also absolutely amazing! We had fantastic facials. Beautiful facilities and so relaxing. Could not ask for more! 5 stars all around!”

“Exceptional service. I stayed with my family during the memorial day weekend. the peninsula went out of their way to make it very comfortable.. small things such as getting a humidifier very quickly in my room, to the pool attendant making sure that my toddler has all the right pool toys to enjoy his time when it was raining outside. The rooms are pretty generous by New York standards. The rooms also have a pretty good view, but the view from the pool at the 22nd floor is exceptional. The location is great for exploring fifth Avenue and Central Park. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Thompson. When we arrived our room wasn’t quite ready, so they stored our bags for us while we went out for lunch. Our room was ready before the check in time, which was very appreciated after travelling. Check in / check out was seamless, and the hotel surprised us with complimentary prosecco, chocolate covered strawberries and a bowl of fresh fruit for celebrating my birthday. Very thoughtful! Housekeeping left the room spotless everyday, and we never had to call down to the front desk for anything. We booked the Studio King Suite which was perfect for a couple. Very spacious and comfortable. The service was impeccable, and we would be delighted to stay at the Thompson again!”

“My daughter & I stayed for 4 nights a few weeks ago & had a flawless experience. Our room was clean & spacious & we were lucky enough to have an elevator located right outside our room. The hotel is located just a few blocks from many attractions & close to a subway station. The staff was very helpful & courteous. On the day that we checked out, we were able to keep our luggage at the hotel until we had to catch our train later that afternoon. When we returned for our belongings, the staff arranged a taxi for us to Penn Station. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Budget friendly and close to Manhattan (it's the first bus stop out of the Lincoln Tunnel). The bathrooms are shared, so bring shower shoes. Window AC units work great. This is optimal for solo travelers because it is a good value and close to where you want to be. All the locks are electronic combination doors, so keep your phone with you just in case you need to call or look up a message from mgmt. Might stay again under right circumstances.”
