“Per Eileen P. - Nicole is knowledgeable and detailed. She designed the flower arrangements for my sisters funeral, the shamrock piece was outstanding and the other arrangements were beautiful and put together with care. Nicole’s warm personality was appreciated and helpful during our difficult time.”
“The best local hardware store. Full of practical stuff for your home/garden projects and staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My 7 y/o loves to snoop around in there because there are so many neat little items and prices are reasonable. Got my windows re-screened there, and they were done within 24 hrs.”
“Thank you so much. Im so grateful for your customer service. Its a rare commodity with most companies. I know this is a busy season for you and yet you take the time to reach out to me with options to correct the situation. For that alone im grateful.
The florist delivered a beautiful arrangement to my family but the flowers were not the color i expected. The were willing to replace the arrangement. Unfortunately, my family was not available to do the exchange. They then offered others options. Ive ordered from them for years and they never disappoint on quality and design execution. You can order with confidence. I live in Florida and my family is in NJ so its comforting to know the arrangement represents our sincere Thanksfulness during this season of Thanksgiving.
Im sure to share my story with others. You have a loyal customer in me.
Sandra from Florida”
“I contacted them to get sympathy flowers for a friend and they went above and beyond. They delivered them the same day and our friends let us know they were the most beautiful arrangement they had ever seen and were so grateful! We live in Texas and our friends are in NJ and if we have to send flowers again for anything, we will be repeat customers!”
“Wonderful people. Good Christmas Tree, wreath, blanket selection. Very helpful and accommodating when I brought back a plant that had died - due to no fault of theirs.
They’ve definitely gained a customer.”
“My number one go to plant store. They accept Apple Pay and are very friendly. For all other stores that don’t take Apple Pay too bad you don’t get my business it’s 2026 People!!! Adapt or die. Plants do”
“I order sympathy flowers for my friend from here and Chet was wonderful to work! The arrangement came out beautiful and delivered timely. Will definitely be ordering from here again!”
“Today was my first time, and it was such a pleasant experience. The place was super clean and there were tons of things to see. The best part was the service, the people who were so willing to assist and help you. I left ready for anything. Thanks, David. I'll definitely be back.”
“Great selection of plants, this is always my go-to nursery every year for any annuals that I may need. My only problem with it this year is that there were no prices posted, so I didn't get as much as I would normally get because I had no idea how much anything cost.”
“This place is a gem. There are so many items to choose from. They have fresh fruit/ vegetables and shelf stabled items. There are so many other items to purchase. I noticed they had breads, cheeses and jams for sale. They still have a good variety of potted plants and trees. The young lady who waited on me was very pleasant. Please visit/support this farm. You will not be disappointed.”

“Flower, bush, and tree selection is extensive! Tons of parking, helpful staff, selection is always in good condition. Entirely landscaped my businesses front and back with foliage from New Bridge — thank you so much !!”
“MHS never disappoints. They are extremely knowledgeable about everything/problem I have ever brought to them. Rarely do they not have what I need, but the one time they didn't have in stock what I needed, they told me exactly what to buy and had me take a picture of the specs.”
“Anna and Janet were wonderful to work with! They put together beautiful bouquets and table arrangements for my wedding. They took time to get to know me and what I really wanted, even when I wasn’t sure myself. The flowers were stunning and made the day so special! Highly recommend them!”
“Overall they seem to have a nice variety of plants and gardening supplies. I was there to get herbs and they had a nice variety of both standard and organic, with one exception- I didn’t find any organic basil, which was disappointing. My wife asked inside and was told it was on the back patio but we searched everywhere and only found the standard.
Maybe it was because we were there midweek but there was no real help around. The older lady inside at the register was nice enough.
I was also hoping that maybe they grew and sold fresh fruit and vegetables but alas, they do not.
Also, if you read past mentions of a petting zoo or miniature donkeys, they no longer have any animals.
Overall, they have a good variety and were pretty well organized and clean.”
“Visited American Nursery looking for a dogwood tree and native plants and found a wide variety + knowledgeable staff. I’m on my way to building a Jersey Friendly certified yard.
Buy local - Buy Natives.”
“Although i didnt get what i want, but hopefully soon, Nancy,Henry and the Boss still delivering the best service to me ????

“Montvale hardware is an icon in Montvale NJ … The owner is extremely accommodating even through Covid ! I highly recommended them for a big project or just a quick tube of caulk ! The BM paint section is wonderful. This place has that old school wooden creaking floor hardware feel and we in Montvale cherish it so !!!!! You must visit”
“Junior was a pleasure to work! He helped me figure out how to refresh my compost bin since winter is coming to an end, and also taught me how to refresh my soil. VIP treatment. I’ll be back!”
“This is the best nursery I have found in the northern NJ area. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who are kind, thoughtful and really spend time with you. Excellent selection of indoor and outdoor plants. Highly recommend.”
“I'm so grateful for this florist: Amazing selection and customer service! I've stopped in twice so far (for bouquets for my daughter and my mother)--although they were very busy, I was able to wait for beautiful bouquets. I highly recommend this shop.”
“Amazing. I've used John and his team twice for pretty big jobs (80+ft trees) and they are awesome - the latest job they took down 4 large trees that were dead and when they were done, you wouldn't even know that they were there - cleaned up everything and took the trees away. Very fair price, super efficient and safety conscious. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!”
“Very user friendly and great place for all your mason, DIY, tool, gravel, sand, stone, etc. supplies. It was my first time there today and picked up a yard of stone dust for patio pavers. This place was so close to me as well and didn’t even know they were there until I found them online. I would highly recommend to my family and friends!”
“The garden center is amazing!! Beautiful plants & flowers. Everyone who works here is super knowledgeable and helpful.. Midge is always fun to chat with!!?”
“This was a nice pleasant and excellent concept Coffee and a plant shop! The woman at the plant part was kind and knew her stuff. The coffee was delicious and tasted good and their pastries were soft and fluffy. Great atmosphere with seating by the window! My only critique would be that I wish they had some savory food options to choose from because all they have is coffee and sweets.”
“I was headed to a birthday party and needed flowers for a planter. One of the guys working there was super helpful and even planted the flower for me. Beautiful flowers & great customer service!”
“The entire staff welcomes you with open arms and makes you feel right at home. They are attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The nursery has an incredible variety of plants and flowers, and everything is so well cared for. Joe, Julie, and Mike go above and beyond to answer questions and offer guidance, making every visit a great experience. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone in the area—it’s truly a gem!”
“Such an amazing place! I stopped by one day after picking up my wedding dress a few stores down and wanted to get a plant to commemorate our wedding weekend. I had orchids previously from grocery stores but was never able to keep them alive to rebloom. Deena recommended the cutest trio of mini fragrant phalaenopsis - I didn't even know they could be fragrant! She spent time explaining the proper care and we're going on 3 years later and they've rebloomed multiple times since. Over the years, I've become an orchid enthusiast and have returned several times to add to my personal collection and get gifts for friends & family. The plants are always so healthy and great quality, and Deena is so helpful explaining the care for each and offering advice.”
“What do you mean you cannot recognize your favorite store? If you haven't been paying attention Walmart is changing.
Renovation(s) and different new product lines are transforming your favorite store into a different style of department store.”
“Came looking for equipment and I am greatful that we came to the right place Jose is knowledgeable and honest, help us right away. Definitely recommended and we will come back soon”

“I’ve been going here for many years and though I’ve moved away from the area, I return each year. Nice variety of flowers and veggies and he carries some items that you cannot find anywhere else. Not only that, I’m pretty sure he’ll bring in items based on his customer’s request. Nice family run operation and the experience feels very personal.”
