“I am not your easy to fit, or easy to please customer when it comes to finding a formal comfortable dress. Thus, I was more than pleasantly surprised when I was in and out of The Pink Orchid Shop in half an hour.
To say I was pleased is an understatement. Lara was ‘spot on’ knowing the style that looked best on me. Not in the least pressuring, rather easy going, supportive, understanding and with beautiful taste.
“Try this on, looks better than on hanger “ and in quick agreement, no pushing, “no, not for you”… the next dress suggestion, I hesitantly tried, yet, felt years younger and even, might I say ‘attractive! Even the price was attractive!
The clincher was the gown that I tried on for my granddaughter’s wedding! Oh my goodness, so pretty, just my style, so comfortable, elegant, all rolled into one! And Lara had the seamstress right there with a smile and the know how to help the small size fit on my body.
All in all , shopping there today was a positive experience! How many ppl can say that?? The dressing rooms were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, Lara was a pleasure to shop with and to guide with her expertise and flair for fashion.
My daughter only shops at Pink Orchid. I after todays’ experience, I understand why she does!”

“I cannot recommend The Hanbok enough! I went through Jasmine and The Hanbok team for my mom and mother-in-law's hanboks for my wedding. The hanboks were absolutely stunning, and both moms received so many compliments from family, friends, and other guests on the wedding day.
Jasmine and her team are so knowledgeable and talented - they helped customize the hanboks, so that it was perfect for each person. My mom had a specific color and design in mind, and Jasmine was able to bring my mom's vision to life. My mother-in-law was wearing a hanbok for the first time, and was not familiar with styles or colors that would best suit her. The Hanbok team guided her through the different styles and colors recommended for the summer season, and together, they designed a beautiful hanbok. Most importantly, both moms not only looked amazing, but also felt amazing, and there really isn't a better feeling than that :) Whether you've worn many hanboks in the past or you're looking to wear one for the first time, Jasmine works with you to create the most special hanbok for your occasion.

“Pure Barre NYC is the best! I am absolutely obsessed with barre and love the studio, class formats, and instructors at Pure Barre Central Park South.I have the option to book with other PB studios in NYC but for me this location is the most convenient and has fantastic class times and instructors. I haven't even tried a different location because this one is the best!!The studio itself is always clean, and always has a welcoming atmosphere. The instructors are always helpful and always have great energy. For me getting back into working out was a daunting experience, but I am never made to feel embarrassed if I need to adjust or take a different option if I have an injury or concern - they always ask prior to class in case someone needs adjustments.I'm a morning class girly and my 7ams are the best way to start my day. I never leave class not feeling 1000% ready to go on and tackle the rest of my day.Periodically there are challenges that you can sign up for and they really get you motivated! The different formats (Classic, Define, Align, Empower) allow you to never get bored of class and each class is always different and always challenging no matter how long you've been doing barre.Highly recommend trying out a class at this studio! You won't regret it!”
“I love this store because My mom loved to go here as her favorite clothing store. She got a sequined grey sweater that she liked so much she wore it all the time in our apartment and even in the summer! Everyone who saw it on her raved about it. The staff is always friendly and helpful. No pressure, you can leisurely take it in at your own pace. And the chairs & couches are so comfortable I could relax as she walked from one shmata rack to another. I loved seeing her explore all the styles and then giving me her selections to ring up. It is a pleasure to shop here and the parking is very convenient. Best store for quality & savings. And after you finish your shopping there's a great restaurant nearby called Harold's with the largest portions I have ever seen for a great meal where we usually stopped before heading home. - paul”
