“My wife and myself have been long time customers of Santander. But today was our first experience with the West Long Branch bank. We were taken back by how graciously the manager and the representative, Jamisen and Olga, treated us. . Though long time customers of Santander/Sovereign we have had little experience with seeking anything other than simply checking and perhaps a CD through banking. Olga listened to our plans and understood where Santander may fit into our overall portfolio. We like a large cash equivalent safety net via a bank, but we still seek competitive market rates with minimal hassel or strings. She was great and so was the manager.
The following day Michelle was also excellent in helping my wife with a CD. This is a rock solid branch who will listen, be responsive and genuinely look out for your needs.
ADDENDUM-The manager, Jamisen, was able to obtain MUCH BETTER MONEY MARKET RATES for a current account of my spouse versus what another Santander branch in the same area offered. He also offered much better rates for a new jt. money market, again without any hurdles to us such as requiring us to convert to Private Client. Am rarely impressed or surprised but I was both. (Was smart imo on their part too).”

“Banking at Chase in Fair Haven is a great experience. The interior of the building in new, fresh, and bright. It doesn’t feel like you’re walking into an old stuffy bank, it seems new and hi-tech. The bankers and staff are super kind and welcoming. They have greeted me by name ever since the second time I went in. I’ve opened checking accounts, savings accounts, business accounts, business and personal credit cards, and well as day to day banking such as depositing checks and cash. I’ve worked with Michael for my personal banking needs and Chris for business and it’s been a smooth experience every time. they are both incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. They make working with them so comfortable to the point where I feel like I can sit and chat even when my banking needs are accomplished. Sawyer has helped me with my day to day needs and is very friendly and greets me by name whenever I come in. I know that banks and bankers typically get a bad reputation but I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with this team.”

“My branch is in Highlands, NJ, but I found a charge in my account I didn't recognize, so they wanted to cancel my bank card. This usually takes about 5 days to get a new card, but the gentleman at the bank on the phone from the banks 800 # named Dan let me know that at the Valley bank in Little Silver NJ, they could issue me another bank card and shred the old one. I called the Little Silver bank to make sure the card machine was working, I spoke to Joe, which I knew that previously worked in my branch. Seedless to say, I went there and he took great care of me. Hooked me up with a new card and shredded the old one. I have been banking with Valley for 13 years, and I love it! Everyone is so compassionate, always! Thank you Valley ?”

“So I had a really bad experience at a nearby branch by Sunset Avenue (which I also reviewed), and had the opposite experience at this branch. As soon as we arrived, the branch manager made sure we were taken care of and both he and his banker worked with us to understand and resolve all the issues we encountered at the other branch. I felt throughout the process they understood exactly what needed to be done. I was very happy with their customer service skills, and frankly they kept me as a Wells Fargo customer. The visit could not have gone better. I will use this branch in the future!”

“I moved my mortgage over to Ocean First more decades ago than I am willing to admit. That being said, I have stayed for the personal care I have received. The mortgage department in Point Pleasant was truly awesome! While there have been too many representative that have provided exemplary service I want to point out that Donna Cook, Karen Willis and a wonderful man whose name escapes me (mature, friendly caring darker skinned gentleman (please forgive me I truly love and appreciate your steadfast care & service over the years. You bring a smile every time)) have always taken "care" of my needs with professionalism and kindness.
