“It’s hard getting up on a surf board. And it can be frustrating when you don’t. I have been working on my core and leg muscles for several months specifically in preparation to get up on a surf board because, as you may know, I’m a full grown man—not a little kid. Give a kid a board and they’ll get up. Probably right away. But not us adults. We need lessons! (And work on our core and hip flexors.) When I found Chris and his groovy gang of 7 mile surfers, it was like finding treasure on the beach! Being around Chris, you can tell he has surfing in his bones. He exudes patience and kindness. What he wants to give you? Not just the joy of standing up on a surf board as you ride the sparkly blue-green ocean in the July sun, but the joy of learning something new! Everyone in our class were first timers and we all got up and even rode the same wave together. So now I call myself a surfer! I surf buddy. And you can too. Sign up on line and then show up at 81st beach ready to ride the Atlantic. And shout out to Chester County Training for getting me ready for this adventure!! And look for me at Nun’s beach!”

“This is an awesome place to go to for a vacation! It has a nice view of the Atlantic ocean and there's a boardwalk with many different stores and restaurants that you can shop at, although everything is kind of overpriced. It costs about $10 to buy a small bag of popcorn.”

“Has some of the high quality surf brands for a reasonable price. The people there were helpful and friendly. Although, certain items were a bit pricey. It’s the jersey shore and everything is pricey for certain things.”
