Extremely poor professionalism by the company, making it an impossible to get an appointment, and absolutely never picking up a phone call at the clinic.If you love your pets, take them to anywhere which is not Banfield.

Family dog was brought here today with possible pyometra (possibly fatal), charged $1180 for tests just to tell us they cant do anything for her after wasting 3 hours here. Why waste precious time and money just to send us to an emergency clinic? At the moment, not sure if she will be okay but be sure something will be done about this horrible and cruel situation my family are experiencing at the moment.

They never answer calls to make an appointment you have to call thousands of times to get the appointment, another thing I don't understand is that on Google they say they are open Saturday and Sunday and when I call to make appointments on those days they tell me that they They don't open those days.

Horrible customer service, been calling all day to get an appointment and no call back. When we arrived there with our dog we where told that they don’t accept walk ins, when told them we have been calling all day the receptionist rudely said that if we didn’t get a call back it was because they where too busy. And That our visit didn’t seem to be an emergency. We left and went to Emerson Animal hospital where they immediately took our dog and treated her.

This facility sucks, if your pet needs to be seen, please just go do your research and find other good vets. Dealing with this place or trying to get in contact with them is such a hassle and inconvenience when it should be an easy process. They never pick up the phone, NEVER! You have to go out of your way and go in person to book because the front people are so incompetent. This doesn’t even deserve 1 star but I had to rate it to leave a review but this place is -0.DONT WASTE YOUR TIME :)

Is there a reason your phone systems are ALWAYS off??? You guys CLEARLY see all the reviews complaining that you guys never pick up the phone... I will 100% take action regarding the bad practice you guys have. Not only was my abx prescription half of what it was supposed to be but when I call to even inquire about getting more you guys don't answer ...

AVOID THIS LOCATION at all cost. They have the worst customer service and DO NOT CARE about your pet AT ALL. Today, I called this location because I live in Secaucus. I called 4 times, each time I was put on hold for over 10 minutes with no response. Which made me drive to this location. My dog accidentally ate a grape and I need them to check him. There response, sorry we don't have anyone here and go to the ER. My dog luckily had no symptoms of anything wrong and I just wanted them to check, meaning have them run blood work. There again response was, go to the ER we can't help you. Why do we even pay for there insurance? Just for them to work on regular appointments? They didn't even care to ask if my dog was okay and what was going on. They didn't check if there was a doc available to look at him for 5 min. Really? They don't care about your pet. PLEASE don't go there. When I told them I called and was put on hold they again didn't care. Someone really needs to manage this location. It's truly a dumb. Hope this place gets sued..... I am sure they will eventually piss the wrong person off and regret it.

I’ve been taking my dogs here for over a decade but unfortunately set my plan to not renew today. The quality of care has been on a steady decline. The Banfield team has made SEVERAL mistakes with my dogs in the past. Today was the last straw. I came in for what I thought was going to be a comprehensive exam with a doctor as the majority of her appointments have been. When I arrived, I was told by the receptionist that the appointment would be them taking my dog to the back and she would only be seen by a certified vet tech. At this rate, it’s not worth keeping my wellness plan for my dog to not to be seen by an actual doctor for a comprehensive exam.

Since COVID hit, I have been very disappointed by the lack of care and attention that my dog has received at this facility. I don’t understand how a franchise of this stature can survive with just one Vetenerian! In the last 3 years I have not seen a vet and each time I have taken my dog for routine check ups and shots, I am unable to speak to the vet directly and am limited to speaking to the vet techs who are doing the best they can but obviously are not vets. All appointments have to be drop offs or curbside visits, I have an 11 year Yorkie who has separation anxiety. I should not have to drop him off for hours for a simple shot! I am currently reevaluating this wellness plan because it is simply not worth it to me. This location has got to get its act together.

Possibly they are super super super busy so you will get connected with the doctor two weeks after your pet started diarrhea and vomiting and inflammations etc. and then, thank god they picked up your call, they will ‘kindly’ offer you an appointment after 1.5 months! They sometimes will not pick up your calls or hang up on you, no matter how many times you ring them or what message you left, while it’s showing the store is open. Got to switch to another banfield.

Made an appointment for my dog because I could not get an appointment anywhere else for his yearly shots. I made the appointment on October 20th for November 6th. We get to the vet and they tell me that they do not have him registered for an appointment. The girl at the desk goes to the back to ask the tech about not being able to find my dog in their appointment system and comes back to tell me that they called to reschedule his appointment. I NEVER received a call informing me that we had to reschedule. The staff did not care about the situation and was rude about the whole ordeal. Not sure how this place is still in business with all of the negative reviews that they have.

I wasted 2 hours of my life, will never come back again. This morning, I was waiting around for someone to open up. These people scheduled my cat’s appointment at 815 am, I waited an hour and Banfield remained closed. Nobody answers the phone, my cat kept meowing for 2 hours stressed out in the cage. Unacceptable!
