THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR STEPPING OUT OF THE BOX & HELPING ME THIS MORNING ALL ON YOUR OWN! MUCH APPRECIATED!We are here for a wk. We have a handicapped studio suite. Everyone we came in contact with has been helpful & polite. The maintenace dept helped me get into my car after the snow. Jorge, esp, went out of his way to shovel arnd my car & make sure I got in safely. A really big help! Felicita is a GEM!!! You are so very lucky to have her. She is so pleasant, efficient, helpful, professional; customer-focused; hardworking & does many chores. Knowing my health/handicapped issues, I really appreciate how she assisted. Rooms were nice. We just would have liked rooms w/o carpeting as so many are doing now. Allergists suggest no rugs.Thank you all!

The best place near New York to stay for a few days. Functional, modern apartment & super attentive staff. The hotel has parking and a small supermarket with basic things. The train is a 15-minute walk away, and leaves you in southern Manhattan in a few minutes.I recommend it 100%

Make sure to tell them to clean the room if you want it done. They will skip you if you don't. Nothing decent is close by to eat, you better plan on driving. Get the top floor, if you don't you will have someone stomping around all night. The sign said social on Wednesday I've been here a month never had one. Tried to get my ice maker fixed never happened. The smell of weed in the halls and stairwell can knock you over sometimes.

And it's Ivan T. for the 4th star!!! Have stayed at this hotel a few times, totaling about two months or so. Never left a review because in my mind, nothing stood out to make this hotel exciptionally pleasant or poor. Excellent rooms and cleanliness, average reception staff, no breakfast. Free coffee from an automated machine, but it tastes wierd. Location is convenient to NYC, Newark and other locations with relatively easy route access, but oddly situated in a quasi-industrial park with no convenience stores or gas stations nearby. Usually has rooms available. Pet-friendly ($79).Last night, after driving from Pittsburgh with my family to drop two of the kids at Newark airport for an overseas flight, their plane took off and then returned to Newark due to in-flight technical issues. I was headed back to Pittsburgh and had to redirect back to EWR. At 2AM, it was nearly impossible to find a hotel to accommodate a large family. Ivan to the rescue!!! I called the Candlewood Suites Seacaucus, and he not only understood our situation but offered to wait before changing books over to the next day, until I could check IHG for a reward night booking. When we arrived, he was on the ball and quick to be courteous. Made my family feel very special, which made me feel great!!! Thank you Ivan and Candlewood Suites Seacaucus, most sincerely!!!

We stayed here because it is only 1-1/2 miles to the train to NY. We got a quick Uber to the stations, trains leave about every 15 minutes and it takes not quite that long to be in the city. Coming back was just as easy, and it was rush hour on a Wednesday.Rooms are fine. Advantage is there is a kitchen with full refrigerator, dishwasher, two stove burners, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, kids, utensils, etc. We were able to borrow a blender at the front desk. They also have some games to borrow. There is a place to grill outside.Nothing is in walking distance but there's free parking and it's easy to drive to the hotel.Front desk is helpful and friendly.
