It is grotesque that New Jersey Transit handed over its parking lot to Edison ParkFast, which charges inarguably absurd prices — $30+ on weekdays, $32 if there happens to be an event going on somewhere — to park a vehicle at a train station that is owned and operated by the state and funded entirely by state and federal tax dollars. NJ Transit owns this land, it’s a state-run transit agency, not a privately owned company; Secaucus Junction is not a destination, it’s not a tourist attraction that people come to visit. Parking should be free and usage of public transportation should be encouraged. Instead, you’ll pay inflated New York City parking garage prices to park a car here in the middle of nowhere. This isn’t entirely on Edison — my guess is NJT leases this lot to Edison to operate for exorbitant prices, and the collective greed and corruption is passed along to train passengers who are already paying high ticket fares for terrible serviceI did not have a “bad experience” here and Edison’s customer service can’t help, unless they want to justify to residents why they’re charging $32 to park at a public train station

For a trip into NYC, this is a convenient place to park. After 5:00 i believe, its $14, which is quite reasonable relative to driving into Manhattan. I had no trouble finding a spot at 5:30 on a weekday. It’s a short walk to the Secaucus Junction train station. I paid for my ticket after parking my car, which I quickly completed.

Used it for the first time yesterday to go into the city to see a hockey game. Will definitely use it again. $16 for up to 12hrs is a lot better than dealing with driving in the city…. Less than a 5 min walk from where I parked to the train station.

Great Location - Horrible Product/PricingCurrently it is $30/day to park here and $14/night if you're going into the city for the evening. The signing isn't super clear but you will end up paying $30 if you are in anytime before 5PM. I got hit with this ridiculous policy yesterday going into park at 4:55.Sit outside and wait the extra few minutes so you don't end up paying $16 for 5 minutes of parking

It's very expensive. That's New York for you. The exit gates are poorly marked and lit. I ended up not turning back onto county st but rather the highway ramp because of it. I had to pay a toll and took 15 minutes more to the hotel because of this. NOT happy about it.

My experience here was great. I was a little nervous after reading reviews. I was going to a concert did not want to deal with after show traffic. I purchased a prepaid parking pass the day before and it worked out great. Easy access, simple to leave and get back on highway, very short walk to train and the man working the evening was helpful and nice with answering my question about scanning my pass. Will likely use this route again for future shows at Metlife.

This place is a complete rip off and unfortunately is the only legitimate parking spots near the train station. Their only purpose is to squeeze as much money they can from the people who have no other option but to park here. They used to have 2 hour parking rate for like $8 and a 4 hour rate for $15-20 but now it’s $30 regardless of how many hours unless it’s $32 for the day. Just a complete scam and money squeeze. Do not park here if need to go to NYC or Secaucus train station have someone drop you off if you can or park somewhere else.

Be aware that the entrance on Paul Amico Way is closed! I have no idea how to get to the other entrance to that lot, so we had to go into the 650 lot entrance side. The sign at the closed entrance simply said to use the “next entrance.” We missed our train, trying to figure out how to get into the parking lot. Hopefully we won’t be charged an addtl $16, because we used the only other entrance we could find to get into the 675 lot (yes, they are connected, within, it turns out).

READ THIS IF YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE THE TRAIN TO METLIFE. Do not go to this place, its a scam. They made me pay twice for my parking. Employees are unhelpful and rude. Its much slower getting out of their parking lot than it is to just sit in traffic at Metlife stadium. This is because their software is terrible and causes holdups every other car.EDIT: After contacting customer service, they were able to refund me for charging me twice. Thank you for making things right. But your employees need some work. They had no idea what to do.

We parked overnight for a trip to NYC. Paid $40, it was a good price. We had trouble leaving and figuring out how to pay. There was a long line of cars behind us waiting, and the kindest employee came to our car and helped us figure it out. Every car behind us was impatient and rude! This man was kind and helpful. We will definitely be returning for our next trip to NYC. Thank you Edison ParkFast for hiring good, helpful employees.

I'm planning a late afternoon trip into the city next Thursday and wondering if the Edison ParkFast lot at Secaucus still fills up early morning like it had pre-pandemic.I'm planning to arrive at 4ish and would hate to arrive to a full lot. I haven't found any comments on reddit or their Google page to indicate how busy the lot has been on weekdays lately. Thanks!
