Disliked my bakery choice - scone. Tasted too much like flour, crumbled like a cookie, just not what I like in a scone (one small corner eaten). Geez! I had to jump through hoops to get them to give me a croissant instead (that was meh too) - pretty sure it was a leftover from the previous day. The lack of customer service will keep me from returning.

A gem in Secaucus, NJ ..a good variation of sandwiches, wraps, salad, i had Berry smothie made with coconut water..was delicious..i had a sandwich with mozarella, pesto and tomatoes (forgot the name) but tasted like pizza! 10/10. Will definitely recommend this place..clean and spacious to eat or even work ..also sitting outside is optional.Vegetarian options: Yes they have.

I bought two empanadas which smelled like old oil and it was not delicious at all. It was the two worse empanadas Ive ever had in my life and I have had plently of empanadas. I also got a chocolate crossiant, the girl didnt even bother to warm it up so I ate a cold chocolate crossiant with rock hard chocolate inside. Smh. I wasted my money, don’t bother coming here. Just go to chipotle or something.

There is no better bread anywhere. Caro at the counter always greets with a smile, is courteous in her service and makes our experience so enjoyable.

Decent cafe for a quick bite. If I’m a bit hungry I’ll stop by for a snack before going to the park. Empanadas are good and the smoothies are good too. Chicken empanada was a bit dry and the guava and cheese was very gooey.

Food was great, just make sure to leave before they are closing or else one of the employees will yell out “BYE IM CLOSING UP!!” very rudely and almost lock you in. So unprofessional.

I used to come here alot when I lived in Secaucus and quality has definitely gone down. First off, the girl working the register is not friendly or inviting at all. Its almost like I’m bothering her. Secondly, you should be knowledgeable about what is in the food and know the basic ingredients. I ordered a vegan croissant which i was told was the only vegan thing there. I used to get that alot and they must’ve changed vendors or something because it was the driest most bland croissant I’ve ever had. See the pictures. I paid $9 for an egg and cheese croissant which I can’t speak for since I don’t eat eggs (this is for my son) so curious to see what that sandwich is like. But here is my $4 piece of cardboard. The place itself is nice to sit in which is why I rated that 5 stars.

Hudson Bread Cafe is a marvelous little upscale place for enjoying anything from a meal to a nosh. It is the embodiment of what a cafe should be: quiet, relaxing, cozy, and just a place one can go for a few minutes getaway from the hustle of things. It's located in XChange Plaza, just a few minutes walk from Secaucus Junction Train Station and Laurel Hill Park, which makes for quite the convenience of a location. The menu offers many options, from bakery goods, to salads, smoothies, wraps, and sandwiches. Their coffee is quite good too. Service is attentive, albeit sometimes there is a bit of a delay, but always pleasant. The prices are a bit higher than most other places, but the main draw for me is ultra laid back atmosphere. It's a bit off the path, but worth it. Also, pay cash and save.Vegetarian options: Numerous. Veggie Hummus Wrap highly recommended.Dietary restrictions: Numerous options for vegans/vegetarian diets.Parking: Mall parking lot has about 200 spaces.Kid-friendliness: Smiling friendly service. Very accommodatingWheelchair accessibility: Easy entry. Sufficient room for maneuvering inside.

My 9 dollar croissant sandwich was fully microwaved…my eggs looked like breast implants…the sandwich was flavorless and rubbery. Run away there’s much better breakfast place nearby where the food is actually cooked with a flame.

The place is neat and clean.Food is good. But the service personnel had attitude for no reason. We went around 11am when there were no other customers, but still the person taking our order had this dry attitude - condescending look, as if we are not welcome there.Just ruined our experience.
