I recently stayed with several family members (we had 5 rooms) but was not pleased that hotel staff had confirmed over the phone they provided cribs for infants but when we arrived we were told they have never provided them. No concern for the inconvenience they put us through. We had to purchase one at Walmart. No apologies, not a care for their customers. The staff looked like they were out of it. The manager tried to get me to prove that I called (which I had by texts to another family member confirming I had called and what they had told me). Showed him the texts but I should not have been subjected to that and then to not do anything about their mistake it's unforgivable. Never ever again will my family stay here because of their lack of concern or care. On another note, the coffee in lobby sucked. The breakfast staff was not the nicest, and tried to rush you out by 10am. Did not feel very welcoming. The rooms were alright for the price but not the ones in front of the elevators as it can be very noisy. Part of customer service is making everything well for your guest and they surely fell short on the way they made us feel.

My group traveling to New York by bus needed a great place to stay close to the city. The Meadowlands Plaza Hotel was the perfect spot. Nick Cimorelli from the sales department was wonderful to work with from start to finish. I arrived at the hotel prior to the group to make sure everything was in order, and it was. Brandy and Manny were very helpful when I registered and I got a tour of the hotel including a special area for the group to dine for breakfast. The breakfast buffet, which can be added to the reservation for a very reasonable price, was great with eggs, meats, potatoes, pancakes, breads and sweets, cereal, fruit, and juices. Ilda was my point of contact for breakfast and she was also very helpful. The staff was very flexible about when the group ate breakfast. The rooms were very clean and large for NYC area standards. The bed and pillows were comfortable. When the group arrived, the room keys were ready to go along with a list of the room numbers for the chaperones. We requested overnight hotel security and a guard sat in the hall to make sure none of the high school travelers left their room during the night. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle to the Secaucus train station. It was not available at all times, but I did use it once. It was a quick 10 minute ride with a very friendly driver. The train into NY Penn Station takes about 10 minutes and is very user and cost friendly. There was a knock on my room door and I was very surprised to be greeted by two staff members with a plate of cookies as a thank you for placing my group at the hotel. I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel and its staff. If I had to give one critique, it would be that the hotel is right next to a freeway and there was some traffic noise. If that is the worst thing I can say about the hotel, I'd say this is a wonderful place to stay.

Pros- 1) The proximity to where I wanted to be and to NYC was great! 2) The beds were comfortable. 3) The price was fantastic 4) Check-in was a breeze. Cons- 1) Breakfast needs much improvement. The eggs were super soggy, there were never any fruits, and they would only offer 1 meat each day so if you didn't eat pork on a day that was served, you were out of luck. 2)The ladies working the breakfast room were unpleasant. One yelled across the room at my 12 yo daughter to go sit in the Bar area because she didn't want us using the tables in therestaurant dining room. We are a family of 5 and needed a table. I gues she didn't want to mess up the table setting before lunch. 3) Breakfast ends at 10:30. If you come down at 10:01, you'll be told that "breakfast is ending" and be made to feel it. If something runs out at 10:02, good luck getting them to bring out more. 4) They were PAINTING the bar area DURING breakfast. This s the same bar area they sent us to sit to eat our meal. Ladders, drop cloths and everything. Two painters were actively painting so we had to walk around them to and from where the food was set-up. This was ridiculous and inconsiderate! 5) Maintenaince is irresponsive and unprofessional. We had an issue with the TV in our room and had to call down 4 times in 2 days. It wa ssuper dark and hard to see from any angle in the room. When the guy finally showed up, he looked at the tv and said "it was normal." As if we lived under a rock and never saw a TV before. I told him it was really dark and hard to see anything. He responded "ok, I'll be back." He NEVER returned. I checked out two days later and never saw him again. Unprofessional and disrespectful.

The hotel refused to check in my wife because I booked it. I booked a room at the hotel for my wife, but when she showed the booking confirmation with her name (as guest) they didn't let her check in because I used my credit card to book it. This nightmare cost 3 people* 2 hours each for a problem that could have been solved in 20 seconds. *(me, my wife, the booking company customer service guy, plus various guys at the hotel counter.)

The aim here was to get off an international flight, and have a good nights sleep before hitting the road. Check in and parking was easy, the room was comfortable and clean, with a coffee maker, fridge and microwave provided. I was not expecting breakfast to be included, but honestly it was a bit lack-lustre, and I would have been disappointed if I was paying extra. Some healthy options like granola, yoghurt and better quality fresh fruit would have enhanced the offerings.

My family and I purchased tickets for a concert at American Dream Mall and decided to make a little trip out of it. I wasn’t expecting to take 4 hours to book a motel in the area. Reviews for SO MANY mentioned “dirty” in so many forms of complaints. We didn’t need anything fancy, My goal was to just book a clean hotel. Needless to say, I was very pleased when we checked in here. The rooms are basic but you have a small fridge and microwave, The rooms and bathroom are a nice size. beds are super comfortable and pillows are great. Most of all, it’s CLEAN.

We stayed for the Army Navy game weekend and was the perfect place. Easy to get to Met Life Arena or the new mall. Offered a shuttle as well. Decorated so pretty for Christmas too. The staff was all so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was an added bonus! Comfortable beds made the stay nice.

What a great surprise. This hotel is not fancy or expensive but it's clean and the staff is excellent. If you need a no frills place to stay that's near the Meadowlands or NYC this is a great choice. It's clean, and safe. The surprise was the restaurant. The free breakfast was good, and I even went back for their lunch and that was great. Authentic Italian food worthy of it's NJ heritage. Well done MPH. The wait staff was excellent and the rigatoni bolegnese was really good! Yes it needs a little update but if you need a bed, a meal, and a shower it's a winner.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Staff were friendly and housekeeping was active making sure the hotel was clean. Our room was fresh and clean on our arrival. I have stayed at other hotels post covid and this was never the case. I’m very happy with our stay, highly recommend! The beds were very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was hot! Eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage, fruit, toast, pastries, coffee. They have it set up in their restaurant with linen tablecloths and real plates and forks. Waitstaff there to assist as needed, and also very attentive and friendly!! I Will definitely stay here again when in the area! Tip- there is a cute Italian deli Natolis just a 7 min walk away, definitely check it out!!

I have been to the Meadowlands Comedy Club on several occasions and have seen some of the best top comedic talent in the industry while attending there shows. They are well organized, very funny, and are appealing to all types of audiances. The customer service i had received had gone above and beyond what was expected. I highly recommend this club and any of there shows to anyone looking to have a great night out with friends and family.
