“love love love this shop for candles and soaps, but also always cute seasonal decor. I also love the clothing and jewelry which is unusual and not your usual cookie cutter merchandise that you see in chain stores. The ladies who own the shop are so fun and most times I end up chatting away with other customers as I browse! It has such a friendly, laid back vibe! I always stop in to find the perfect gift for that hard to shop for friend. The staff is so helpful and always packages purchases so prettily that I usually gift it in the bag they made up for me!”

“I went to Doughty’s to see and lay on a specific mattress. Antoinette started by showing me the mattress I had asked for but then presented me with two additional options that she felt would better address my issues. She was right! Both options were more supportive and more comfortable than the mattress I was originally looking for and BOTH OF HER SUGGESTIONS WERE SIGNIFICANTLY LESS EXPENSIVE! I don’t usually enjoy shopping for furniture as I feel that salespeople hound you and never let you just look around. Antoinette has perfected her approach to provide guidance and assistance in the shopping experience while still giving me the freedom to wander on my own without any pressure. I highly recommend Doughty’s when you are looking for a new mattress and do yourself a favor and ask for Antoinette. You won’t regret it.”

We never miss stopping into Home on Haddon and I never leave empty handed. Whether it’s a greeting card, notepad, mug, tea towel, vase or candle, you can find a gift for anyone in this store.The selection of pillows is also amazing. They have beautiful picture frames and unique candles. They have a sweet section of unique children’s merchandise in the front if you’re looking for a baby gift!There’s a little sale section tucked in the back that’s fun to browse and they have special collections they carry that give back.I always treat myself to something when I when I visit this store. The customer service is great. It’s a welcoming, friendly, inclusive space which is also meaningful.They truly put a lot of thought into their store and what they carry and care about the town and their customers. When I needed help with something I couldn't find anyone to help but the girl at the register did get someone to help me find the price I was looking for. Stores are clean and organized.
