“I've heard it said before that 'any mechanic can change parts, what makes a good mechanic is diagnostics'. Rob at Octane Garage is the best of the best when it comes to diagnostics. I've been to several garages with an EVAP issue for three months and no one could find the problem but Rob found the issue on the very first day and also found an underlying issue with something that would cause me a problem down the road. Strongly recommended. Best garage in central New Jersey. You won't be sorry for bringing your car here.”
“Good old-fashioned service station: I needed to get air in my tires, which takes four quarters (naturally, I only had 3). I went to get change, unfortunately, I only had a $20 on me. The manager smiled & handed me a quarter out of his own pocket.
Afterwards, as a courtesy, I went ahead and got gas (even though I already had a nearly full tank).
I will gladly go here again.”
“Had an issue on a roadtrip. Went here on a Saturday morning. They took my car, looked at it fixed and communicated in excellent manner what was needed (oil pan and some other things) and what needed to be looked at later when I made it to my destination. 100% recommend. “I’m not from around here — I was just passing by and needed to put my license plates on my car. The bolts were completely rusted and wouldn’t come out. I didn’t even have any cash on me, only a credit card.
I stopped here just to ask if I could borrow some pliers, but instead they went above and beyond — they actually helped me remove the rusted bolts and put the plates on themselves.
When I asked how much I owed, they told me it was completely free.
I just want to say thank you. I honestly don’t come across this kind of kindness very often in the U.S. May God bless him, his business, and his family.
