“What a fantastic move I had thanks to the guys at Strongmile Movers!! Joe, the owner, sent a three-man team to help with my move from one apartment to another a few streets over in Highland Park… and he could not have sent three harder-working men for the job! Casper, Devin, and David showed up with GREAT attitudes and immediately set me at ease with their friendliness and professionalism. As a single woman trying to move a 2 bedroom apartment by herself, I needed all the help I could get, and I felt like I was in great hands with these three! The guys made sure I was comfortable and relaxed during the move (they literally set up a chair in the shade and requested that I sit and take a load off!! I didn’t lift a finger!) while they did all the heavy lifting. They went the extra mile at every opportunity: they wrapped my couch, TV, and other fragile items with care before loading, and patiently conferred with me at the new apartment to figure out the best furniture layout for each room. Joe even stopped by personally to chat with me and check in to make sure the move was starting off smoothly, which was an extra boost of confidence that I was in good hands. I could say so much more about how this team made my move the easiest I’ve ever had in over a decade renting and relocating, but suffice to say you get EXACTLY what you pay for when you hire Strongmile: peace of mind, quality customer service, and fantastic work ethic. “I was very, very happy with Allied Van Lines and their local affiliate, Simonik Moving & Storage in Bound Brook, NJ. We moved from Central NJ to Austin, TX from a home we had lived in for 30 years. I was stressed about this move and worried about trusting our belongings to just anybody. I got quotes from 6 different moving companies and checked references and reviews. John Simonik was our sales guy & while they were not the lowest quote, there were others that were 2-3 times more and theirs seemed the most thorough. We did most of our own packing and they gave us a bunch of boxes & tape to help us along. When the team came to move us, I could not have been more impressed. 5 guys arrived at 8:30 am and immediately went to work and they didn't stop until they had us all packed up about 2pm. Each guy had his own job to do and each went about their business, only occasionally asking us a question. They were polite (yes sir, no sir, however you would like it, sir) and very thorough. They had to take apart my desk to get it out of the basement, because it had been glued together. Before they did it, they advised me that they would have to remove the top but they would do it as carefully as they could. After taking the top off and bringing it up out of the basement, they laid out a blanket on the driveway and re-assembled it by drilling larger holes and using screws they had brought. When they were done, it looked like new. That impressed me. Then when they were wrapping up, they insisted (nicely) that I accompany them through every room in the house and confirm to them that everything that was supposed to go was taken and that nothing was left behind. We live at the end of a cul-de-sac and since they could not turn around, the driver backed their 53 foot van all the way down the street, about a half mile. These guys are professionals.They packed us up on December 30, and they estimated they would deliver it in Austin on January 8th. At 9am on January 8, the truck was were there ready to unpack. They loaded all our belongings into a storage facility as we had arranged because we are building a home & it wasn't ready, but the offload went very quickly.When it was all done, we were very relieved and convinced we made the right decision. I would not hesitate to recommend them.Services: Interstate moving”

“Recently, I was told that we would be relocating for my job from South Carolina to Connecticut. My company gave me a move package to go with relocation. It started off shaky when the household goods appraiser showed up to estimate our weight and did not listen to anything we said, in turn she added stuff that wasn’t going and just added everything to the estimate which would have put us overweight. But when the driver Michael Angelo and crew from Budd Van Lines showed up everything changed. Micheal made the entire move as easy as he could for a move, if we had questions he got us answers. Mike and his crew did an excellent job packing and loading everything on to the truck. In the end everything came out great, our stuff was delivered with no problems other then us having to change the delivery date for other reasons and Budds got it rescheduled with no complaints thanks to Dave our move coordinator. In all we were very happy in the end with Michael and his crew. They were punctual, communicative and went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with the services! Would highly recommend him and his team!!”
