He looked at it immediately and said that the brackets holding my exhaust were broken and needed to be replaced. I left my car with him and it was repaired that day. “Ed over at Davis Automotive did me a HUGE favor when I brought my car there.After battling with a bad headlight for a week, I was pulled over twice within two hours on a Saturday evening thanks to all my lights starting to fail all at once. A ticket and a threat to impound my car later, I was desperate to get my car checked the next day.Google was showing that Davis was open on Sunday, so I brought my car there thinking they were open. Turned out it was an error on Google, and they were closed, but Ed’s sister was nice enough to let him know I was there and needed help. Even though he was technically off, Ed took my car anyway!My car needed new bulbs and fuses which took several hours to troubleshoot. Not only did he do all that work on his day off, his price for the work was beyond reasonable.Ed has an incredible work ethic with compassion added to the mix. “Service was amazing somebody put gas in myDiesel truck I called all around and everybody was saying 5-8 grand to repair. Spoke with AL he said let me check it out and it only ended up being $582.00 . He could have shafted me like everybody else was trying too but he acted with integrity and honesty and for that I trust them 100% and will be using A.Foote long into perpetuity. Saved me thousands.He lifted the engine a bit transmission was OK. Only installed motor mounts. But I was given estimate. That everything was needed. Thanks again. “I was struggling to find someone who could remove a rounded off and stuck oil pan drain plug. I asked for word-of-mouth suggestions and Van Meter came up. Keith called me around 2:30PM and was able to squeeze me in the same day, after I was done work. Not only was his team able to remove the plug, but he also showed it to me and described what he thought the original cause was. Finally, they reached out by text the following day to make sure that I was satisfied with the quality of their workmanship. Therefore, between the attention to detail and the fact that I live only about two miles from their shop, I plan on returning for my automotive needs.”

“Went here randomly in hopes that someone could take a look at a slow leak on one of my Ford F-150 tires. Everyone was so nice and found my issue right away. Because the leak was related to the tire pressure sensor, they recommended that I take it to Ford, put the tire back on and sent me on my way at NO CHARGE. Highly recommend!!”

“Brought my SUV in for routine service and Dan and his team routinely do a general assessment of the overall condition of the vehicle and look for any potential issues that may need to be addressed. Well during the assessment they identified a serious issue that made the vehicle unsafe to drive. Dan and his team fully explained the issue and also provided me with some information they researched. The manufacturer had identified the defect in a general service bulletin. However, the manufacturer never contacted me about the potential defect!!Dan and his team fixed the issue. By going the extra mile each time I go in for routine service at A 1 a potentially serious situation was averted.”
