“Really nice Masjid mashallah. If you’re going to Jummah the parking lot fills up asap so make sure to go early. They have produce boxes for members of the masjid who need them which I thought was really nice and thoughtful. The imam also gave a very nice khutbah and I definitely recommend listening to it all. There was even a cute cat at the entrance.”

“PLZ DONATE GENEROUSLY! This poor dog shelter desperately needs money, I sure hope the staff in the higher position are not taking a giant salary from the nonprofit money that comes in from donations. The staff were all great people that help and walk you through everything. Just a few cons. One, it’s a very old beat down place, almost extremely unsanitary to the point. There are pigeons flying, which literally poop on the dogs and inside of where the dogs are kept. I saw dead mouse inside one of the dogs cabin. so one portion of where the dogs beds are and where they sleep is extremely warm but the other side, where they usually go the bathroom is freezing cold, I mean, literally I was shaking while wearing the heaviest jacket on earth so just imagine when the dogs have to use the bathroom. now walking down the hallway the lights were not working, and it looked like the scene of a horror movie, poor dogs have no light in that section. lastly, when they just walk the dogs they have NO sweaters on them and mind you I went on the coldest weekend that we’ve had for 10 years and it was 5° out. Overall, I was truly disgusted but I have to say the dogs all seem healthy and properly fed food since they none of them looked malnourished.”

“Clean, updated facility and friendly and helpful staff. We've had a family membership since 2013; Can't count the amount of times I've swam and worked out here. My girls learned to swim here, starting as toddlers; they were later on the SAY swim team, and as teenagers now go on their own. Great teen programs!”

“They're very helpful understanding. The staff very nice pleasant. The staff don't make you feel a certain type of way because you need help. They don't make you feel less than or that you don't belong there or that you shouldn't be asking for help at all. The staff makes you feel welcome and they're always willing to help you as much as they can they're very honest. I can't say enough good things about rahway food for friends.”
“As long time members and family donors of this great facility, we love it! Our son swam for the #Devilfish for a number of years and benefited from the facility, coaches and staff! We enjoy the varied offerings though we don’t go as much as we should!”

“I have fond memories about spending time here as a youth. Learning to cook, self-defense, and Halloween events were awesome. Summertime spent at Day Camp in Rahway Park, day trips to the shore, and walking to and from home to meet with friends.

“Boys and Girls Club was fun and they served good lunch, they have great teachers but this year they working on the other side, and I am a student and the experience is fun and for the summer camp they go on field trips and swim lessons and swimming, if you send your kids to great oaks they can ride the bus to the boys and girls club and they have game room and swimming pool and 2 parks, and a class room A and a gym and a dance room.”

“One of the best cat rescues in the area by far. I adopted the sweetest and most loving cat from S.A.R.A in 2023, and they made the process feel welcoming and easy. The cat, Misty, was in great health when I adopted her, and continues to be even after almost two years of having her! I don’t agree with the bad reviews calling S.A.R.A “strict” with their adoption process, they only want the best homes for their cats. Bonnie is very knowledgeable and helped me and my family throughout the entire adoption process. This rescue is phenomenal.❤”

“This is a great place if you are looking for used clothes or household items. Great deal for a variety of books, only ~$1 depending on hard or soft cover. Also has a nice selection of seasonal items like beach/pool toys and bathing suits in the summer. Sometimes they have large baby items like cribs, but they have a room with baby clothes upstairs.”
