“Order ten yards of brown dirt . The company was easy to deal with and delivery was on the money . Ps they have brown dirt which is dirt screened from the area . The 2 nd option is organic dirt which is only good for a skim coat since the organic material break down to almost nothing over two year span .”

“The best! I moved to Verona about a year ago and luckily this place is down the street from me. Sometimes I walk there just to see what they have for the season. The flowers I've purchased from here seem to last longer and grow larger than other garden centers. The prices are not outrageous like some other garden centers as well. It feels nice to not only support a local business but also get a product that is better from a large-chain box store as well. They also have a pretty large selection of seasonal produce, such as jersey tomatoes in the summer Honestly the best part is that in the fall they have really cute farm animals that you can visit!”

“I need to take a minute to write about what a great experience I had with Joe the store manager. I came to Home Depot to return a small Item. When the sales associate who was initially helping me had trouble with the return, I asked to speak to a store manager. That is when I met Joe. He went above and beyond to help me and explain the return policy to me. He was polite, kind and very personable. People like that are rare today especially when you are dealing with a large company. I hope that the higher ups in the Home Depot establishment read this and recognize that they have a fantastic employee who should be praised. Thank you Joe!”

“First time doing business with this establishment. Ever since the Pandemic I have been very proactive with planning and budgeting home projects. I am in the market for materials and supplies for a retaining wall and also an mini outdoorBBQ Station and kitchen with sink. Jersey Landscape and Gardens only sells the top rated brand of papers in my opinion Cambridge with Armortec. Their prices are fair and reasonable , that I stayed within my forecasted budget. The delivery charge is more than competitive. The staff is very friendly and and go the extra mile to work with your needs. I will definitely be doing business with Jersey Landscape and Gardens in the future ????☺?”

“I have to say the manager (excuse the spelling) Kaleel, saves this Home Depot location of a 1 star review. He is exceptional and from reading the other reviews it seems Home Depot needs to weed out people to have more employees like him..I had been searching for a new front door using the Home Depot ap and found the one I wanted. It said there were 2 in stock in south Plainfield so instead of buying on the ap I went directly to the store to look at the door in person. While looking for the door, I noticed a lot of their stock had dings and scratches all over them. Either way could not find the door I was looking for so asked one of the guys sitting in the door department. He searched high and low and could not find the door so told me he could place an order for it, they will search the entire store and pick the item for me and if not order another one for me. So I purchased it and went home. The next day I tried calling to see if the door was in and the phone just kept ringing. So I sent a text to the customer service chat in the Home Depot ap. That person ended up getting through to the store and she found out that they had cancelled my order. This is unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They never reached out to even say they cancelled it which is the messed up part. Kaleel was very nice and called around to other stores and tried to make the situation right. I was on the phone for awhile and he said that if he could get through to the other stores he would give me a call back. Which he did.”

“This is my local Home Depot. Since purchasing a home a few years ago, I’ve probably come here dozens of times for various reasons. My most recent visit to get supplies for a new dishwasher install is prompting this review. There is a certain negative connotation with “Big box” stores and I’ve certainly had experiences here that would align with that. Today an employee helped me in the electrical department and the experience was exceptional. He took the time to ask about my project and steered me towards a better solution. I very much appreciate his expertise and professionalism. Sadly I didn’t catch his name, as he rushed off to help another customer. Whoever was working electrical on Saturday March 2nd - HD, you need more folks like him.”

“I had tried 800-flowers on line and could not get what I needed and was very frustrated with their website. So, I looked on-line for a florist near Plainfield NJ. My dear cousin had passed and due to covid-19 our family down here in Virginia needed to send something really nice. I called Town & Country and we had trouble understanding each other. The lady, Magoli, asked that I call her cell directly. I did. She was fantastic and the peace lillie they delivered to the funeral home (in less than 24 hours), was huge and beautiful. We got a lot more for our money than we would with most other florists we've used. I highly recommend using this place!”

“I wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to one of my favorite new local businesses.. I tracked down Cardinal garden center after seeing a delivery of beautiful laurel plants arrive at my neighbor’s house while I was out on a walk. I immediately knew I wanted to buy my plants at Cardinal because they were of such obvious high quality. Not only do they have lovely plants, but the staff is helpful, knowledgeable and just basically awesome. I’m new to the northeast so they spent plenty of time discussing my new yard’s many landscaping needs and walking me through their inventory. They also have an excellent selection of pots—much better than the local big box stores. On my first visit they helped me choose two large planters for a pair of enormous Boston ferns along with drainage rocks and top-notch potting soil. I also purchased a gorgeous pair of mums for my front porch and a set of boxwoods to later replace the mums. On a recent visit, I found the most beautiful carving pumpkins and a couple of cute decorative ones. Have you watched the movie “”You’ve Got Mail.” A visit to Cardinal is like stopping by “”The Shop Around the Corner.” You receive plenty of personalized service from a knowledgeable staff.I stopped by Cardinal this morning and discovered a wonderful selection of Frazier and Balsam Firs. They were very fresh and full. I also picked up a beautiful wreath.”
