“I came for an oil change at around 6pm and left at around 7:15pm. I definitely recommend going earlier as I assume many people try to squeeze in before they close. They take great care of my car and are very professional, even their workers in training. They explained everything that was being done to my car and told me any problems that they noticed (my taillight being out, skid plate being damaged etc.). My total service was priced around $100, including the $15 coupon I presented. I have no complaints about the service, they always do a great job on my car. I feel like the price is a bit higher than getting it done at a local shop, but you are definitely in and out when getting services done. Thanks so much <3”

“10/10 service!!! I highly recommend coming to this Midas location. I purchased four brands new black hawk tires for my 2016 Honda Accord. The manager Sean was so helpful and knowledgeable. Not only did he offer me the best price in the area (compared to Pep Boys and Mavis), but he gave me other affordable options to look into as well. After I dropped my car off, they offered me an uber home to rest until they were complete with the services! When I arrived they gave me an update on my brakes, rotors and oil and let me know that it was all up to date. He also let me know that my tires came with a LIFETIME WARRANTY for free with my purchase! Unheard of! My car is driving beautifully and I’m so happy. Thank you Midas on 22!”

“I am always pleased with the service here at Jakes! We've been here a few times with different cars. This week I had a complete flat in my neighborhood and while they could not tow me to the shop, he encouraged me to call my car's roadside assistance. They accepted my car after hours and by the end of the next day, my car had a new tire and was ready to be picked up! Always efficient, super kind and fair prices. Happy to have them so close to home!”
“It was a great experience except I went there with my windshield washer fluid all inside and not bothered. When I pulled out the light was on which was odd. I drove around the corner and asked if they forgot to put the windshield washer fluid in. The guy comes out and says I forgot to tell you it’s all pouring out. Wires thing is there was no light on and I was cleaning the dirt and debris off of the windshield before I got there using it. I didn’t like that at all. I watched him place the fluid in as I was standing up watching and moving around. While the guy was working downstairs. It wasn’t until the end of the oil change when he took the under engine cover down to assist the guy in placing it back on that he ran upstairs and started putting more fluid in. He and the guy below began to speak Spanish to one another and I paid and said thanks. So somewhere along the way they either hit or punctured the line and now I have to pay to fix it. Not happy and I am placing a claim.”

“I had a very nice experience with the two gentlemen that helped take care of my oil change, it was quick and I didn't have to wait long. They were very upfront and honest about the state of my car and told me there were some things I needed to do and look out for. Ex. Air filter, oil leak or burns off..
I also used the Xtreme Clean car wash following the oil change and they too were great, highly recommend coming here.

“I am writing this review not just for the Goodyear brand the shop itself, but also to personally recommend the excellent service and professionalism at this location. The store managers, Manny and Mali, are incredibly professional and very friendly with customers; they are very patient when explaining the various services offered. I have been buying Goodyear tires at this shop for years and have never had any issues—quite the opposite, actually. The tires are of excellent quality and last for years, and—best of all—the shop offers free tire rotation if you purchase the tires there. My family and I always go to the same shop because we trust the quality and the guarantee they provide—not just for tires, but also for oil changes and mechanical repairs. Yesterday, I had an emergency with one of my cars and called the shop for help; without hesitation, they came to assist me. The gear shift wasn't working at all, making it impossible to move the car, but they immediately helped me get it to the shop. They performed the repair quickly, and honestly, actions like this are invaluable to customers. I am happy to keep using their services because their work is guaranteed; if any issue arises, you can go back and they’ll fix it. This stands in contrast to other places that might charge a little less or the same but provide terrible service and use poor-quality parts. That is why I prefer bringing my cars to this shop—due to the trust and reliability built over the years, and because they have an excellent team of mechanics who are true professionals and know their craft. I recommend this shop not only for tires but also for mechanical work on any car.

Not only did you treat me with great kindness, but you also made me feel just how important customers are to you. “The oil changes are always great, fast and staff is super friendly. But I also want to share they are knowledgeable and helpful. I was having an issue with my key fob I was about to pay the dealership to fix it (both annoying money wise and time wise). The very nice mechanics at JL helped me find the part online and told me how to fix the issue for about $20 vs $100s. They took time to both look it up for me and explain how to fix it. Really going above and beyond with their service. And I cannot thank them enough. I know it may sound silly but that extra kindness and time goes a long way with your customers. It makes loyal ones that will keep coming back !”

They even reached out to BMW to get the full service history on the vehicle to confirm all required maintenance had been done and they pointed out that a recall has been issued for a part. “Good service is worth sharing. The staff at Richard's Service Station were very friendly and courteous.
I took my car there for an inspection due to the closure of the DMV inspection station in Newark. I was told that the car was not ready for inspection, of which I was not aware. If the mechanic had not taken the time to check, it would have failed and I still would have been charged.
He explained since I had a battery failure, the computer loss all data and advised what steps to take to get the car ready, which included combination of highway and city drive cycles.
I would not hesitate to do business with them again.”
