I found an Allen wrench stuck in an almost brand new tire today after pulling off of 15. Sucker was flat. Ran in grabbed a plug kit and intended to remove the wheel walk it to Wawa, fill it up and walk it back.
But of course out comes Eric, the owner, tools in hand including a portable air gun. Gets in the ground to help me line up the wheel to access the damage. Let’s me use his tools and makes sure I’m ok before I go.

“This has been the trusted hardware store over the years. It's gone through quite a few renovations over the past few decades and still has what you need when you are fixing that electrical outlet or you need a new spray nozzle for your hose. It's the place to go if you need 1 & 1/2-inch wood screws when all you have is 1/2-inch nails. You come here if the Drano is not doing the job and you need a snake for the sink. In the fall, you'll get your metal rakes here to clear the fallen maple leaves in the yard (I prefer the plastic ones). If you are skateboarding behind the Walgreens (formerly Rite Aid), you can easily pick up new nuts or a wrench to secure your wheels to the trucks for a smoother ride. This hardware store has what you need to keep that garden healthy, from shovels, soil, and various garden tools. Last but not least ... Propane ?”

“For the Randolph homeowner who cuts their lawn or snowplows their driveway, this is a place for you. I have bought several items from Mark (2 lawnmowers, leaf blower) and had all serviced by his shop.
Fair on prices, explains all repairs, tells you how long the wait will be.
If you see his lot, you can see he is always busy with his many customers.”

“This store is a rare gem! I was visiting my daughter over Thanksgiving and the microwave died and of course my tools a miles away in VA. These folks had the torque bit I needed to remove the case and the time delay fuse needed for the repair. I didn't need to buy a kit of bits I didn't need or a package of 5 fuses I'd never use. Businesses with helpful, knowledgeable people close every day. This is one that certainly needs preservation. Very helpful and knew exactly what I was looking for.”

“Giving this Home Depot a 5 star review specifically for the amazing customer service I received. I ordered a vanity online and then a few weeks later saw that it was 40% off ($600 difference from what I paid). My husband and I came to the store to see if they would match the price without us having to bring the vanity back, because I am pregnant and the vanity was very heavy to move. We went over to the returns area and the nicest woman helped us, I unfortunately cannot remember her name but I will make sure to get it on my next trip back and add it on to this review. Because the request was a little confusing, she called a manager over who wouldn't give us the time of day and basically said since we ordered it online that we had to call Home Depot online customer service and figure it out on our own. The woman who ended up helping us made the call for us and waited on the phone for about 15 mins and ended up explaining the situation and got us the $600 back without us having to bring the vanity back. She is amazing and deserves a big fat raise”
“We had an emergency and needed a water heater. The person who assisted us was kind and nice although she had limited knowledge about the water heaters. She went out of her way to get us a cart.”

“A wonderful experience! We had been trying to find a place that did curbside propane exchange - all the big box stores expect you to go in and pay still! I was shocked no one was offering a true curbside propane exchange. Station Hardware made it super easy, the young guys working here are so nice and helpful, and we were in and out in 5 minutes. I also got a bag of potting soil, they loaded our car and ran my card inside; we got everything we needed quickly and efficiently. Thanks for offering this, we will be back :) highly recommended!”

“The last time I went to Netcong Hardware was maybe 10-15 years ago. Staff was very helpful finding what I wanted, and the store had a very old-school vibe even back then. But I remember buying concrete blocks for a science fair project WAAAY back when I was a kid and Netcong Hardware was still in Netcong on Maple Street where Family Ford is now. I think it moved to Stanhope sometime around 1980 or 1981. Wonderful to see an old legacy business still in operation after so many decades.”
