The Reeds at Shelter Haven is a standout hotel and venue in Stone Harbor, often called the Ritz of the Jersey Shore. It is a lovely setting for weddings and events, and is also considered the best wedding venue down the shore. The property has undergone gorgeous renovations. The customer service is consistently highlighted as amazing, exceptional, and incredibly kind, with a genuinely helpful team at the front desk, for maintenance, and in dining. The staff is noted for going above and beyond, including packing luggage without being asked. The chefs know the art of cooking, and the food, once considered sub-par, is now very good. The strip steak and the event catering receive praise. The rooms are immaculate, spacious, and super comfortable, with nice touches like local chocolate at turn-down and makeup chairs in suites. Guests appreciate that the windows open to allow fresh ocean air. The outside bar offers awesome bay views and great sunset views, though access from the ballroom can be odd. The hotel provides convenient amenities like a shuttle to the beach and valet parking. The on-site salt spa offers couples massages that guests enjoy. Overall, it is a place that creates a very pleased and impressed experience for guests.

We had a wonderful time at the reeds! Patrick at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. We also were so appreciative of Chris who drove the shuttle, so friendly! We definitely will be back.
