“I love consignment and thrift shopping for designer and high end brands. Nothing beats the thrill of finding an unexpected label for a low price.
I also enjoy traveling to new places and exploring which is exactly what I did on my first visit to Erby’s Elite Repeat.
I took a solo drive from 1 1/2 hours away to visit a well known online resale retailer’s brick and mortar store, Short Hills Mall and other boutiques/ consignment/ thrift stores in the immediate vicinity.
Erby’s was my favorite by far. Large store, well stocked and thoughtfully arranged. Lots of different brands and great prices. I talked with the owner while I shopped and she was so nice and personable.
I spied a shoe that caught my eye and upon inspection realized they were Sneex.
I can not wear heels which bothers me, since so many outfits look 1,000 times better with them.
I had heard about this brand that was supposed to be so comfortable and not feel like heels at all.
I was hesitant to purchase on-line ( never saw them in a store) due to possible issues finding the correct size, high possibility I would still find them unwearable, high price point (@$550 at the time) and a charge for returns.
So I was very excited they were my normal size and I was able to see them in person and try them on.
Beautiful, high quality and they were comfortable!
Did I mention they were brand new!!!!! Not a mark on them, including the bottoms!! Erby’s price was amazing and the owner gave me an even greater deal!
My visit to Erby’s Elite Repeat was the highlight of my 12 hour shopping trip.
Highly recommend.

“Love this place and the Staff too! I love to come here and browse like my mother used to do in the stores of Brooklyn, NY. You never know what new treasure(s) you'll stumble upon and walk out with. And believe me it's never a sudden impulse buy or a pressure purchase.
You will go home items that pull at your heart strings because they remind you of someone who was/is special in your life. I'm a man, so guess what caught my eye? Almost an exact duplicate double boiler my mom use to use when I was a kid. She would use it to reheat items in the top with boiling water on the bottom. That was our equivalent to microwaves today. The main thing I remember though was she would cook franks in the bottom and heat up the Campbell's pork and beans on the top. What a great meal that was!
The point is, go to Willing Hearts and find things current and things from years ago. Even if you don't buy something this time, it is fun to see all the things around the store. This store deserves 5 stars.”

“This is a great little consignment shop. I wish I had found it a long time ago. I will definitely be back. I bought this one-of-a-kind Dolls Kill fur coat. It has double horns! They also have clothing for normal humans, so don't get scared. Prices are reasonable. Not cheap. Not expensive.”

“We love coming here and it’s always a successful thrift visit! It’s so important to check their Instagram for sale information, I got a stylish jacket for half off— at $3! Be strategic with your thrifting ;) Still, you can find really nice pieces for less than $10. Although some other reviewers consider them a bit more expensive, it is a smaller space with clean items of light wear (more than worth it AND sustainable to me). If you are looking for name brands or trinkets like Lenox, their upstairs consignment is perfect, but at a higher price than the thrift. I have recommended so many friends and family (men and women) here, and it’s a great place to find special gifts for others. Love it!”

“This beauty supply store is a very beauty supply store. I have been a satisfied customer for 20+ years. Today I went in to pick up some hair for me and my daughter's braids, hair gel, beads for decorating my hair. There is so much to see and each isle is stocked. Lastly, the customer service and product knowledge is wonderful and the employees make shopping a pleasure. They are very helpful and polite. I can say that I can never go in and not take the time out to browse. They also always makes you feel like an appreciated customer. “If you're ever in the Short Hills area definitely take a visit to this unique thrift store - it's a MUST! I happen to work in the same strip mall as DoubleTake & saw they had a 25% off sale so I decided to stop in, and I'm thrilled I did :) When I first walked in I was pleasantly surprised by how much they offered. The items have different ranges in pricing so even if you're not looking to spend a fortune you can find something special! I stumbled upon these booties by Anine Bing I actually saw on their website before coming in, and I needed to have them - literally OBSESSED! When one of the staff members saw me eyeing them she kindly asked if I wanted her to put them aside for me - everyone at DoubleTake was sweet & helpful! They weren't pushy either I felt comfortable in the store as I looked through everything. Just to address some negative reviews - the prices are transparent & are the same online as in store, and the employees are not racist as I was shopping with a diverse group of people when I was there - we were all treated the same & with respect. I look forward to going back here soon for another great experience!”

“The store in South Plainfield is generally clean and organized. I have not had many interactions with staff members, except at the checkout line. Maybe a few workers have English as their second language.
I love looking at all the items. It gets crowded on 50% off sale days, but that is to be expected.
Some clothes are brand new, with their tags still on! Be careful of prices and check the color of the tags to see if they are on sale that day. Warning - you cannot purchase an item if it doesn't have a tag. Make sure you check all your items for rips or stains, broken zippers, etc.”

“Over the past 2-3 years I have had great experience bringing beautiful crystal, china, etc. on consignment to Home Again, and was always welcome. 99% would sell well. If something was below the shop standard they simply mentioned it and I kept it for donation. I have enjoyed going to also get out of my Covid zone last year! My time with Kathy has always been a very positive experience. Recently I had 5 boxes but was not sure it was up to their standard, I emailed Kathy all the item pictures, she thanked me but they were not to standard as I had guessed, I did not have to drive there. I dropped the content to the VNA sale in FarHills for Morristown Medical Center. Kathy told me she was looking forward when I would go again. Always a pleasant positive experience with anyone at the counter!”
