“Replaced brake pads, and rotors, Tie rod and sway bar. Labor was reasonably priced, for the region. They kept me involved in terms of the parts used, and provided warranty as well. the owner to the mechanic were all friendly and transparent throughout the process. Although they recommended other services given the age of the car, there was no upsell pressure.”

“I had to replace an alternator in my old (25 year) Oldsmobile. I checked out several places that I could walk to in my neighborhood and another via phone that was recommended by a friend. All were busy and couldn't get to the car for a day or to. Even though it was mid afternoon, Desmond at A&H said he could order the part and get it done by the end of the day. Not only that, but he was less expensive and much nicer than any of the others. Today I stopped in because I was given an outrageous estimate by Midas regarding a tire I'd purchased from them 5 months ago. It only had 4,000 miles on it and was worn down to the steel belt. And dangerous to drive on. They claimed it was because I had a wheel bearing and casing that needed to be replaced. Desmond was kind enough to take a look and I would have gladly let him do the work. However he was honest enough to tell me it wasn't that at all. It was a wheel alignment which needed to be done and yes he had told me that at the time he replaced the alternator. I just didn't do it - silly me. But thankfully I didn't spend crazy money at Midas for BS either. Unfortunately A&H doesn't do alignments but I will definitely go back there for other needs. And an honest opinion and an honest price. Highly recommended. Ask for Desmond if you call. He runs the repair garage.”
