“I was pleasantly surprised by this place. My wife and I drove 9 hours to New Jersey to visit friends and this was the hotel that was the cheapest and near to where we would be for most of the stay. This place is pretty good for what they offer. The bathrooms need some work I’ll admit but other then that the whole room was clean and we felt comfortable staying there. I do wish they offered free breakfast like other places but if you’re looking for just a place to crash and don’t care about amenities then this will be the place for you. I will probably book with this hotel again since I go to Jersey a lotRooms: The rooms need some work especially the bathrooms. Sheets were clean and bed was fine. “Food was amazing & came out fast. Yenifel offered a wonderful service. We went for brunch so the atmosphere was nice and calm! Plus we had a baby with us and still everything was accommodating, Music not too loud. I was looking forward to the pineapple rice dish but it was not available until 4pm but once 4pm came, Yenifel was ready to take my order . Yenifel we Love youuu! ?”

“Great museum to learn more about the history (and present!) of New York City. Some displays feel a little outdated, that’s why I give four stars. But the compilation of movie fragments depicting various aspects of life in NYC (moving, making money, relationships, work, entertainment) is a must-see and makes the museum definately worth a visit!”

“I have passed by many times but never had an occasion where u til last night. I was pleasantly surprised once I stepped inside because the outside is rather plain and doesn't hint of the tasteful and elegant inside. The front door opens to a lovely atrium area adorned with a huge flower arrangement in an urn with a bar and seating area. It is lovely tan and brown marble with bronze lighting fixtures and comfortable and booth seating. The food was done very very well. In stark contrast to a wedding I went to at a different well known catering hall a few weekends ago, the buffet was on point. The fried calamari was brought out small trays at a time often so that it remained crispy on the buffet. The cheese was delicious and actually tasted like cheese. The chicken franchise was tasty of lemons and butter and not overdone or mushy. The coating wasn't falling off in a wet heap like we sometimes see. The salads were fresh and delicious. The roasted peppers were certainly made in house because they had roasted flavor with brown grill marks and the garlic slices tasted like freshly sauced garlic. The drinks were on point. The bartender assured me she could make a good old fashioned, and indeed she did! I highly recommend this place”

“MO’s Banquet Hall is top notch! I would recommend this hall to anyone looking for a place to throw a party. Max is amazing and very helpful made my daughter’s Sweet 16 run smoothly and took the stress off of me and I was able to enjoy the night. The bartenders were amazing no complaints the photographer and videographer captured beautiful pictures and so attentive all night! If you are looking for a place this is it a one stop shop..Max again thank you for your service and your dedication and for making my daughter’s Sweet 16 a night we won’t ever forget!”

“My experience at the restaurant was a bit overwhelming due to the noise and crowded atmosphere, especially on a Friday night with live music. Despite the tight arrangement of tables making it difficult to move around, the food and service were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian dish with pasta and plan on returning for it. My friends also loved their salmon dishes and couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. Overall, while the ambiance was not to my liking, the quality of the food and service made up for it.”

First off, the whole venue is GORGEOUS, with a beautiful, freshly made ceremony room, cozy but classy cocktail room, and a spectacular elegant ballroom for your reception. If you're considering a winter or summer wedding, this venue is perfect. Even you're in the summer and it gets rained out, you'll still have a picture-perfect ceremony room, so really there is no need to worry. We did our wedding just a week ago and it was amazing!Not only does this venue wow your guests in terms of how it looks, but the staff are INCREDIBLE. We worked with Samantha (our event consultant), Jeffery (our maître d'), Monica (our bridal attendant), Max (helped with the groomsmen) Sal (entertainment services), DJ Tony Gia, and Shar (videographer). From day 1, Samantha was always enthusiastic and patient about our many many many questions that we asked throughout the whole entire year before our wedding. She was a joy to work with! Everything was done professionally and the answers provided truly reflects how much this venue knows and understands how to run a good wedding. Monica, Jeffery, and Max were with us the day of the wedding and they truly ran the show behind the scenes. They were there to answer any questions, take all the stress off of us and our families, and made sure everything was on time and done well. There was really nothing we needed to worry about because Jeffery, Monica, and Max were well coordinated and knew exactly what to do, even with our outside vendors (photographer and florist).One of the best things about The Estate at Florentine Gardens is that they also have amazing entertainment services. If you end up booking this venue, we highly recommend using Sal Travis and his team. Sal was always ready to provide us good song selections and help us craft our package for what we would like to have (lighting, videography, DJ, sparkler towers photo booth, ceremony music, and so much more). DJ Tony Gia was the best - he kept our dance floor up and dancing the whole night and was an amazing MC. Sal's team of videographers were also outstanding and blew our guests away. They were able to catch everything live and even produce an amazing wrap-up video to display at the end of the night.Our friends and families members who have been to so many weddings before said that our wedding was the best wedding that they have ever been to, and we know that it's because The Estate at Florentine Gardens is 1. beautiful, 2. provides the highest quality of service, and 3. is truly working to ensure your day goes smoothly, and 4. the food is so DELICIOUS!! “We came for a private event. The service was quick even though we were late. The ceviche was the one thing I didn’t like. The empanadas and skirt steak skewers were delicious. The mango butter for bread as well. I had the fillet Mignon and others had the skirt steak. Both of the meats were tender and tasty. The 4 leches cake was well made. Many times, in other places, the cake is lacking the “leche” aspect. The service for the food was excellent. Not so much for any other request. They had to be reminded to bring simple things like soda or steak knives. At the end of the evening we were still waiting on 2 sodas. This place is a lounge late Saturday nights as well. In the warmer months they have tables outside for lunch and dinner and you can appreciate the spectacular view of the New York City.All in all, I would come back.”

“I cannot say enough good things about The Gaga Center! I booked a birthday party for my soon-to-be 7 year old son at The Gaga Center, sight unseen (which made me nervous). Marcy, one of the owners, calmed my nerves immediately, she was so nice and helpful. Cut to the party itself (!) it was a HUGE success! The staff handled everything — including 33 extremely excited seven years olds — and it all went super smoothly and everyone — grown-ups (who at the end also got to play) included — had such a blast!! It was the talk of my son’s class even the next day at school. Do not hesitate booking your child’s birthday party here, you will not regret it!”

Kelly, the Event Planner, answered all of my questions beforehand and I had a lot of questions. The food was delicious. The wait staff were professional and friendly-they brought the food out on time and cleaned up promptly as well. The valet was great too. The day of the party is always stressful but I had no worries when it came to the staff-they made it a great experience. I would definitely throw another party here.”

Wouldn't recommend linguine bongole if you are sensitive to spice because of the pepper flakes, but it was still a great dish. The pizza and the penne vodka were out of this world flavor, and for a reasonable price too.
