Received what I needed in a timely manner. Friendly people. The CPAP machine works well.

Shane, The infö about the recall was available online? Why would anyone possibly see that? It is YOUR responsibility to contact customers when something is recalled. It is the only moral position--not "we tell you when you call us" or "it's on our website." When Toyota recalls cars it doesn't just say, "It's on our website," it contacts its customers. You can wheedle out of this all you want. The moral imperative is for you to make the effort to let you customers know when a recall is in effect that can affect people's health and YOU DIDN'T DO THAT! Anything else you say is lame and bad business practice. As I said to anyone considering Community Surgical, DO NOT GO TO THIS MORALLY CHALLENGED OUTFIT which is a disgrace to our state.

This is absolutely one of the worst companies I have dealt with in 63 years. No one is accountable for their actions, or lack of actions. I literally live one half mile from the facility. I ordered a new mask as the seal on my mask, which was only three weeks old, tore and would not seal. I explained the situation and was told a replacement would be sent out. I was told I could not go and just pick it up because the order had to be processed. I reiterated to the customer service rep the mask was not usable. She said she understood the urgency. A week went by and I called to find out where my mask and supplies were. I was told they didn't know because they could not see in the computer where the order was, or how it was shipped. Only that it is being processed. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to Jenna Oliver at extension 7217. Jenna swore up and down she would find out where the shipment was, and supply a tracking number by the end of the day (7.26.21). Needless to say she never did call me back. I called her three times on 7.27.21 and instead of being placed on hold I was hung up on all three times. Another day has come and gone. Another sleepless night is on the horizon. Community Surgical Supply has no regard for the quality of human life. My next call will be to Medicare to see if they can help and offer a replacement company. In a nut shell STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Every review reads the same, TOTAL INCOMPETENCE!!

I had to rate this company with One star because ZERO is not accepted by the website. They deserve to be taken to task for their miserable customer treatment. Months ago, after many, many aggravating telephone conversations, they finally came to pick up my CPAP machine. After all this time, I still received notice that I owed them money. The link in their email didn't work and I was unable to reset my password as instructed. So this morning I called the billing department number and got a voice message saying they could not respond to my call, but, if I left my name and number someone will contact me in 2 days. What kind of reputable business acts like this?? They are THE WORST company I have ever dealt with in my entire life

Without a doubt, one of the most frustrating and incompetent companies to deal with for surgical supplies. Like clockwork, they call you every 90 days for new supplies to get your insurance money, but when you need them, nothing. I ordered a new mask and machine through my doctor and insurance. I was told they don't carry the mask. I was told they don't make the mask. I was told the mask isn't in stock. I called the manufacturer and they said none of this was true. My new machine was taking forever to get. I called Community Surgical and was told they needed me to digitally sign a form. I did. No machine. I called again and was told to call the machine supplier to expedite matters. I did. They didn't have any info on me or my order. Eventually, the machine supplier straightened out the matter. Guess what? They didn't have the form I filled out on line. The machine finally arrives. My new mask? Nothing. I call Community Surgical. We don't have it in stock. I call again. We do have it. They send the wrong mask. I call again with my complaint. "Is the mask opened?" they ask. Of course it is. You send a flimsy box in a poly bag and the box is smashed. They say they will call me back. They call me back. "You aren't eligible for a new mask because you recently ordered new supplies." Duh! You sent me the wrong ones. "OK. Someone will call you to exchange the mask." Now, I will probably get charged for a second mask. It's 4:00 AM and I can't sleep. The Velcro doesn't stick to my mask and Community Surgical is zero help. It's a good thing my calls are being recorded. Don't blame your incompetent help on COVID. This has been going on for years I genuinely hate this company.

I wish you can rate no stars. I still wonder why they are the only company that doctors use for cpap machines... they are so unprofessional. Never get back to you and it always the customers fault!! This wasn't the first time we had to deal with them. So today was to return the equipment. Well waited for "the phone call" youre told you will get before they arrive. Nothing. At 7:35 PM my door bell rang and there he was. What happened to normal business hours since I had to take the day off to get this returned. Not only was he late and unprofessional, he didn't have a pen to sign the paper work and I asked why he didn't call and he said "I left my charger home and my phone is dead". Really. Everyplace sells chargers. This company truly sucks. Avoid at all costs. Also it doesn't matter that we write these reviews because they have a monopoly and the doctors must get a big cut from them since they're truly the only company they use.

Avoid this company at all costs. They are HORRIBLE; their communication SUCKS, you have to call them over and over to get anything done and after your 15 minutes of hold time is up ("your call is very important to us" HA!) you'll get some clueless person who takes your information and promises to get right back to you...but they never do. The ONLY thing this company is quick and competent about is billing your insurance. That's it. You are NOT their customer BTW, you're just this pesky thing in between them and their real customer: which is your insurance company. I just ditched them and will be notifying my sleep doc and urging her to drop them.

I am a Cancer patient that needed an oxygen tank in order to be discharged from the MSK emergency intermediary care department. At first I relied upon MSK case manager to handle this with Community Surgical Supply. I was told that it could take between 4-6 hours to get the delivery. This was at 11 am in the morning. By 6 that night nothing had been delivered, every bold faced lie that could be told was used by Community Surgical Supply to excuse the delay. Even NY traffic would not have created a 4 hour delay. Then finally at 9 pm the MSK nurse supervisor got the number of the driver ( this information was withheld from MSK, and we were Even Told That the driver did not know where he was!!! I know now that this is an ongoing problem with your company. You overbook deliveries, make false promises of time, and the Supervisors will not get on the phone nor will they call back. My 11 hour day waiting at the hospital just to get your delivery was in no less terms a nightmare. Things happen, But lies are made on purpose. Supervisors avoid customer on Purpose, and poor management of drivers and overbooking is done On Purpose. You are usually dealing with very ill end customers, how dare you manipulate them and take advantage of their vulnerability. And shame on MSK or any other reputable hospital for dealing with Community Surgical Supply. The travel oxygen mechanism was finally delivered at about 10:15 by a driver that said he needed to do something and would be there in an hour. AT least he told the truth. Shame on Community Surgical Supply for running such a shoddy, unreliable, heartless company. And shame on any hospital for continuing to deal with them.

The so-called customer service department for Community Surgical is absolutely deplorable. I have never experienced such evasive representatives in a "customer service" environment in my entire private or professional life. I have been trying to correct an issue since January to no avail. First I was told I needed to contact the "equipment area" and after about a dozen attempts to do that I was told that I needed to contact the "billing area" needless to say my last telephone attempt resulted in my being transferred back to the "equipment area" where the call was never picked up and I eventually was disconnected. Between my husband and myself we have made at least 12 calls without success. When I requested a name for a Supervisor or a Manager, I was told by at least 6 "representatives" that they cannot give me that information. The best of all was that when I called attempting to get a street address so I could send a FedEx letter, I was told that didn't have one that I could go online. I did finally find a street address for the equipment delivery on the delivery ticket, sent a FedEx letter with all the supporting documentation and it was RETURNED undeliverable. I would never recommend this company to anyone, I have even asked my husband's Pulmonology office to discontinue their relationship with them. My next step is to file a formal complaint with the BBB, then I'm considering purchasing the equipment to avoid future problems.

I am mystified. Even as I type this review, I have no answers as to why my CPAP machine has not shipped. It has been weeks of calling to inquire and I am told there is 'one more step' until it can ship - I complete that step and the machine does not arrive. I call again and now it's a problem with the prescription which they say is now fixed, yet, still the machine has not arrived. I call again, it has not yet shipped and no one seems to know why - transfer to another department to get status, end up on someone's voice mail with no return call. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM??? I am completely baffled. Hoping someone sees this review and CALLS ME BACK. (Tom Polise, thank you)

By far, the most unprofessional business that I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Where shall I start? - The ' therapist' who initially delivered my machine was in more of a rush to get to his next appointment than to take the time and show me how to properly use/clean the machine (as well as provide answers about supplies) - Had the 'therapist' taken his time a little more, he'd have noticed that the machine wasn't functioning properly. - Replacement machine took an extra week to arrive. This was after I had waited around all day on a Saturday for it to be delivered. No call/no show, but that didn't stop them from lying and telling my doctor's office that I had "rescheduled." Turns out that the replacement machine is also a USED machine that's been "refurbished." Completely unacceptable. Especially when it's your machine after 13 months. Just another way for them to collect on repair funds after it's paid off by insurance. - Finally, and still ongoing: I've been waiting for a replacement mask as the original I was supplied didn't fit (remember the rushed tech? He also didn't have the time to properly fit me for a mask). It's now been almost 2 weeks, multiple calls & as it turns out.... they sent it to the WRONG ADDRESS. I'm completely finished with this company, and I'd strongly suggest that anyone else who is in need of supplies takes their business elsewhere.

Are they still in business?. I sent them two letters, one with a Cpap prescription and Sleep Study report, and a second requesting return of the documents since there was no response to the first. No reply to either. If they are still in business, customer service ranks low on their priorities.

Very helpful. They took the time to check for what I was looking for to make sure it was an item that was in stock and they had plenty of before I drove down there.Gave me fantastic directions they have everything well let's put it this way almost everything you need in medical supplies I can't say everything because somebody else say they don't have this but I have not been able to find surgical shoe covers for weeks took the chance on calling them even though they had a one-star ratingAnd I found them above and beyond helpful and they had the item I was looking for in multiples I mean casesso I am giving them a five-star rating for customer service above and beyond, store is clean easy access and no hassle shopping thank you for everything I know I appreciate it
