The employees work hard stocking up, and my cashier, Ezekiel, was very friendly, accurate, and efficient.
Management is understaffing employees though, which affects both productivity and reliability.

Well this store a mess front to back everything is everywhere the employees don't have manners 😒 and the supervisor is aware since she is the same way today I came in trying to do 2 transactions since I forgot my toilet paper the manager came and said it's only 1 per customer 😲 since when? 1 transaction per customer..returned everything i had bought im still trying to get my money back the manager said she voided the transaction but still no money in my account 😒

I went here (and maybe Dollar General) for the very first time. Not too sure why all the negative reviews here but I had nothing but positive experience. The staff here were all very nice. Helped me out getting stuff from the top shelves. One even "offered" to help me out (even before I asked for help). The store seems generously stocked. I'll be going again more often.

Hi…so I just started shopping here after walking by it for 5 years…I love the deals and the employees and customer service are usually spot on. Unfortunately…an earlier visit wasn’t. I know when employees work all day or a shift…especially when it’s closing time..they wanna go home…I get it. BUT if your policy is that particular store is open until 9pm…than customers are allowed to ENTER the premise and still shop until 9pm! Once a customer walks through the doors before 9m…they can shop!!! Well a gentleman( don’t know his name…management can watch video) literally BLOCKED myself and a lady with her baby( again watch video) from entering the doors at 8:48pm this evening. Now…if I am at fault..and are mistaken forgive me…but no where does it state on your website that your hours of operation…at that location…are until 12 minutes before 9pm or open until an employee chooses! Now…he wasn’t rude verbally but his body language was! He literally WOULD NOT LET US IN…until I stressed to him that there was still..by that time..10 minutes until 9pm! So either it’s at the MOD discretion when closing time is or it’s policy that an employee can’t change the closing time…if that the case it should STATE that on your website…so it keeps the customer from being EMBARRASSED or made to feel UNCOMFORTABLE…just communicate that on your WEBSITE! Other than that…you have a wonderful staff and great deals!!! Thank you!

General Dollar is a terrific store that has almost everything you need in your household. I love buying my cleaning supplies, school/office supplies, beauty/skin products,food & holiday decorations there. I swear that General Dollar you never leave there empty handed. Whenever I get into the store for one or two items, I always end up leaving with three bags full of useful stuff. They always have great deals in that store. Also if you have EBT or OTC cards they accept it.The employees there are helpful too. For instance whenever I need a price check. They always help me out with whatever question. I haven't had any issues with them or their products & service. It's all so good and no reason for complaints.So I would recommend anyone to pop in to any General Dollar stores. They definitely know how to help their customers save their bucks.

I’m only giving five stars cause of one worker and I believe her name is essence. Every time I come in she helps me, she is very nice, polite and patient with me. It’s sad that I can’t say the same for everyone else. I always thought Essence was a manger there but come to find out she’s not when she should be. Why you guys never have bags like what’s up with that.
