East West Novelty is a retail store specializing in counter-culture goods, founded in 1971 with roots in the music business. It has remained in its sole brick & mortar location for 45 years, offering an eclectic mix of products from different time periods and sub-cultures. Customers find the place incredible and amazing, noting the huge variety of merchandise. Many have been shopping there since they were teenagers or for many years, and they always stop in when in the area. The owner and staff are consistently described as great, very friendly, kind, helpful, professional, and well-informed. They are known for having good energy and treating customers like human beings, providing a satisfying and enjoyable atmosphere. Shoppers appreciate that the store is reliable and not running scams, with quality items like real stainless steel screens that can be hard to find elsewhere. Customers report they will return to visit and make purchases again, looking forward to returning much sooner than two decades.
