(UPDATED REVIEW AT THE BOTTOM)Intro classes aren’t for beginners. Unless you want to feel terribly stupid I suggest you not go. I had a genuinely terrible experience, there was no instructional adjustment for experience. Even though it was my first class ever. My feelings are hurt! I was genuinely excited to try. This is an Intro and everyone was immediately flipping 20 minutes in??? Not even so much as a little extra help even though upon walking in I let the instructor know I had never been here before or taken a class :(. If I had known I would’ve saved my money. (For transparency I left the class halfway through because it hurt my feelings so much)(UPDATED REVIEW because I can’t write two!)Autumn the owner is absolutely amazing! She reached out to me personally to genuinely understand what went wrong and how best to fix it. I really genuinely appreciate the real time and care given to me! I will definitely be back for the pole newbie class!! I learned so much in a one on one session & I felt confident and like I could actually do it! 10/10 recommend!!! ??

I am SO happy I found this studio 6 months ago. It truly changed my life for the better. Not only I lost weight and started to feel more confident and graceful, but I also met a lot of friends there. I started with Intro to Lyra classes with Zz - she is a great instructor. Then I felt I was finally ready to try pole, so I started with Intro to Pole class with Autumn and now I also do Exotic Pole Flow with Brittany - both classes are amazing and both Brittany and Autumn are very skillful and professional instructors who would take their time and make sure every student got the move right. Also, what I really like about Lovely Lioness is that the studio is extremely spacious (besides all the other things like great instructors, friendly atmosphere etc.). I've been to a couple of other aerial studious and trust me having so much space is a real luxury!

The instructors here are very nice, they always ask and adjust for your level of experience, and any injuries that may limit movements for you. I really appreciate that accommodation. As for the studio, it is beautiful and spacious. They have both AC and heaters to prevent it from getting too hot or cold during the seasons. My only reasons for lack of 5 stars is: 1. the studio NEEDS more difficulty levels. I get told by Beginner/Intro to pole instructors to move to level 1 because I can invert...but then I get told by Level 1 pole students AND instructors(!!!) to go back to Intro because I don't have jade splits, butterfly, etc. Is Level 1 for people who are just starting to learn inversion moves or not??? It's very confusing and demoralizing. I've heard others say the same about the silks and lyra Intro vs L1 classes as well. So I strongly recommend the studio add more difficulty levels; I have seen other studios have up to 4 or even 5 different defined difficulty levels.#2 reason: I wish there were open studio slots during the week. I prefer to go out of town for the weekend, but that means no open studio for me to practice.

I love this studio! Been coming here semi-regularly for the last 6 months for the lyra classes and the instructors are lovely, patient, and encouraging. There's parking available as well and they follow cleaning procedures every class.10/10 recommend!

I have been attending weekly intro pole dancing classes for 10 weeks, I have taken the chair dance class and the floor flexibility class. All of these classes have been great and I highly recommend trying them.First of all, I’m new in town and don’t know anyone so I took my very first pole class by myself. I was nervous, but the instructor, Autumn and other students were very welcoming and made me feel right at home.Secondly, I don’t have any gymnastics or dance background, but Autumn structures the class to accommodate each student’s ability. So if you’re feeling like you’re not capable of learning pole dance I assure you that you are and there’s a class at this studio that is suitable for your needs. Also, with the price and parking it’s incredibly accessible. The price is really reasonable. The intro package was the best deal around. At the time, (not sure if it’s still going on) it was just $30 for three classes. The parking situation is THE BEST! They have two lots right in front with open free parking.I couldn’t write this review without mentioning the beauty of this studio. It’s on the 4th floor of the historic Yardly building in Union City. It has a spacious loft feel with high ceilings, lots of windows and city skyline views of the Freedom Tower. It’s the perfect space to inspire movement and feel empowered.Lastly, it’s important to mention COVID precautions. Masks are recommended and most people wear them. The poles are set 6 feet apart and are wiped down with alcohol frequently throughout class. I always feel really safe there and appreciate the precautions taken.I feel like I’m just starting a long journey with pole dancing and I’m really happy to begin here with Lovely Lioness. I sincerely recommend giving this studio a try because I think you might fall in love with pole dancing and their community the same way that I have.

Everyone is so friendly at this studio. I took Dynamic Pole class and I liked how the instructor gave us individualized goals depending on our levels. Also, the view of this studio is gorgeous. Can't wait to go back!

This is such a cute and stunning studio. You really cannot get this good of a price for pole fitness classes anywhere near New York City. I’ve been an LL student for 3 years now and I love this community!
