“I contacted Union Auto Wreckers weeks before my visit and was quoted $106 for a steel rim. One thing I genuinely appreciated was that when I came in on the 9th, they already had my vehicle information saved even though I never left a deposit. The front-desk gentleman honored the exact price we discussed, and that part of the process felt organized and professional.

While I was paying on the 9th, though, a worker from the back (not office staff) kept joking loudly with the employees behind the desk. At one point he mentioned something about a staff member’s weight, along with other comments I didn’t really pay attention to because I was focused on my transaction. The issue wasn’t just what he said — it was how he kept looking at me after every joke, almost waiting for me to laugh or react. I didn’t find it funny and chose not to entertain it. When I walked out with my receipt, that same worker followed out and started asking me what I got and how much I paid, which felt unnecessary and intrusive.

As far as timing, I want to be clear that I wasn’t rushing anyone or demanding a specific pickup time. The staff were the ones who told me the rim would be in “tomorrow” (the 10th) and that they would call me. Around noon on the 10th, after not receiving a call, I phoned them just to get a ballpark idea because I had errands to run. I was again told it would arrive that afternoon and that I’d get a call — but no call ever came. I’m not stressing over it too much, but because I expected that call, I held off on a few things I needed to do so I could stay nearby and be ready, which threw my plans off a bit.

On the 11th, they finally called around 8:30 a.m., and the rim itself was correct and ready, which I do appreciate. Overall, the accurate pricing and record-keeping were strong positives, but follow-through on promised calls and keeping the environment professional around customers would really improve the experience.

My initial experience with the service department at this Honda dealership wasn’t the best. Communication was lacking, and I felt like I wasn’t being treated with the level of professionalism I expected. However, things took a positive turn after I left my review.

I was contacted directly by the service advisor Anthony J who apologized for the inconvenience and assured me that the part for my vehicle had arrived. He arranged for valet service to pick up my car from my home, bring it to the service department, and then return it once the work was completed—all at no additional hassle to me.

I appreciate the effort that was made to make things right. While my first impression was not great, I can say that the follow-up was handled with care and professionalism. It showed a willingness to take feedback seriously and improve customer experience, which I respect.

He was so kind and offered to secure my exhaust pipe that was scraping on the ground. He had me back on the road within 10 minutes. Without his kindness, I would’ve been stranded. “I came in this morning for an oil change. Carlos in the service department assisted me. He is always polite, professional and knowledgeable. He explained to me what services, besides the oil change that was scheduled, is needed based on my mileage. He also explained to me the importance of the additional services. We discussed the price and I decided to get those services done since I was always scheduled for service. Carlos has been here for years and he’s very helpful.
