I was making a return that I purchased online and paid one day shipping for. The items were purchased well before the 90 day period allowed for return. I was told by Teresa from returns that I am not able to make the return at that store and have to make the return in Jersey City store. This was online purchase and the items were very heavy. There was a clear lack of education or training on the customer service as this was not what I was told when I called online LOWE'S customer service. I spoke with Sharon on the phone and I was told that as long as it is within the return period , Teresa at the Union Lowe's store , should have taken the return. This was escalated to the Lowe's Union management hopefully to better train and teach customer service the same information they should know across the board and provide better customer service.

I was looking for Home Depot and the GPS brought me here. I’m patiently waiting for this guys to help me make keys as I was directed to him. And he told me “well you have to wait” I didn’t say anything because is that not what I was already doing. I left the store I will never give my money here. Rude customer service.

Quite the place.
It had almost everything you need for home improvements.
Not all staff are predisposed to tastefully assist (most are). Irecommend you look for what you need online before you get there (that is If you want to be in and out even sooner). Just follow the location you see online and you will certainly find what you need.

Buyer Beware: Huge %75 of tiles sign posted outside store but for weeks , no such discount in the store. Brought to the attention of manager Diane who shrugged her shoulders and refused to take sign down.

Is not the first time this happens. It’s 5:50 pm and i tried to buy a blind and when i ask to cut it to a specific size, the cut machine is not working but like i said before is not the first time. The first time was the same thing and on the very next day i went to this same store around 7:30am and the machine was just fine! So if i coming tomorrow morning, the machine will be working by magic again. I think is more easy given a excuse saying they don’t know how to do it or don’t want to do it! This happened in the Union, NJ store but probably is the same thing in all Lowes stores. Shame

Very poor customer service! Associates place you on hold and never return. Manager, Brett/Brent was finally reached via customer service rep from the 800 number listed on Google. He was very dismissive and defensive. I understand better why associates behave the way they do. He leads by a negative example. He lacks positve leadership skills. Corporate will be made aware of such practices. I called the Bayonne location and the service was excellent! Kudos to their management team!!
