AHP PET & GROOMING Animal Health Products
2526 US-22, UnionOwner seems passionate! High quality selection for pets. I previously used a dry dog food for 7 years that was #1 rated by vets and even sold by my vet! I thought my dog was a rediculous shedder. Vacuumed daily.. My vet confirmed "some dogs do shed like that." This store owner had much to say about the "#1 vet recommended pet food" and explained I was starving my dog of essential vitamins. Now I have had dry dog food FROM food for 5 months and he loves it. His coat is nowy dog has a soft coat and sheds like a normal dog. Stores like these are great because they educate themselves on the products and sell what is proven to be good.

Shake A Paw
2195 US-22, UnionI had an amazing experience last Saturday at Shake A Paw! A special thank you to Joyce for helping me choose the perfect breed, Christie for making the adoption process smooth and easy, and Charlie for helping me pick out all of the puppy essentials. Each of them was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure I had everything I needed. Thank you all for making bringing home my miniature poodle such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Shake A Paw!

PetSmart
948 Springfield Rd, UnionCame here for the first time and wasn’t 100% satisfied with the ear cleaning and nail trim. My puppy’s nails were cut a little too short. It wasn’t anything serious, but it did worry me /: then I decided to come back and book with Tanae B, and I’m so glad I did! Aura smelled so good, her nails were perfect, and her ears were SO clean! She understood exactly what I wanted + What impressed me the most was that when I picked Aura up, Tanae was gently petting her and staying with her until I arrived. That small gesture gave me so much confidence that Aura was treated with kindness and care. I’ll definitely be requesting Tanae again and highly recommend her!❤❤

Silky Pups Grooming Spa
2559 Morris Ave, UnionToday, my beloved dog Milo had his first grooming session at Lana’s salon. I am so grateful to Lana for making my dog look so beautiful. We moved to Union and were looking for a good groomer; after trying three other salons in the area, we finally found the best one in New Jersey. If you are looking for a great groomer for your pet, I highly recommend coming here.

Puppy Love Spa
2464 Morris Avenue, UnionI love the staff and service they provide. I had a cocker spaniel for 17 years and they provided him with top notch service. When he lost the use of his hind legs they came to my home to groom him. I now have a 11 month old cocker spaniel and I only trust Puppy Love with his grooming.

Happy Puppies
899 Magie Avenue, UnionWe found our new groomer: Full weekend availability, fair prices and great with anxious dogs and owners! :)
As owners of an anxious dog, with the added concerned about finding a groomer under a short notice, our worries began to dissolve after the first phone call with owner, Michelle. I called Michelle on a Saturday for an appointment on a Sunday, the next day. For prospective: Happy Puppies was one of a only a few groomers in the area open on a Sunday and was only one of two groomers with open availability on this Sunday. She met my concerns with warmth, positivity and ease. From the moment we walked in to drop off our golden doodle, we were met by the same warmth and positivity by Kyle, the groomer. We learned that Kyle has 30 years of experience and it shows. He was SO good with our dog! We are so grateful for such a refreshing experience and strongly recommend Happy Puppies to anyone, especially those anxious owners who have been made even more anxious by their pets experience with other groomers. Thank You for renewing our faith in the experience!

Dogtopia of Union
1235 West Chestnut Street Unit 5C, UnionWe have trusted Dogtopia of Union with the daycare, boarding, and grooming of our 2 high energy 55 pound dogs for nearly 2 years and have had nothing but positive and excellent experiences. Manager Ryan and his staff are not only friendly and knowledgeable but most importantly give us the peace of mind that is absolutely necessary when trusting the care of our pets with others. Having had negative experiences at other facilities in the area, Dogtopia Union is the only place we recommend to other dog owners that are looking for trusted daycare or boarding services. The smartphone app is a major plus as well, allowing for ease of scheduling and uploading documents, as well as occasionally checking in on our pups through the livestream cameras in all the rooms. If you are looking for a daycare or boarding facility in the area, this is the place.

Pet Care
PetWellClinic - Union
2290 US-22 East, UnionI just wanted to take a moment to truly thank the team at PetWell Clinic in Union. From the moment we walked in, they were welcoming and professional, and they took the time to explain everything clearly, so I never felt rushed or unsure. They were so gentle and patient with my dog Oreo, who can get a little nervous, and they handled him with calm and kindness. You can tell that they really care about the animals and their people, not just getting through appointments. I'm really grateful for the careful attention, the clear communication, and the genuine compassion they showed. Thank you for treating Oreo like he mattered.

Village Animal Clinic, LLC
465 Chestnut Street, UnionWe can't recommend Village Animal Clinic highly enough. Our cat needed a dental appointment and a possible extraction. Annie at the front desk was kind and friendly and was also great at communicating everything we needed to know. They gave us an estimate that showed the low to high range of possible final prices. The work was done wonderfully and they shared before and after pictures with us. That alone would have earned a recommendation, but the fact that their pricing is excellent seals the deal. Our previous vet had quoted us almost SIX TIMES what we ended up paying at Village Animal Clinic. The treatment and attention to both our cat at to us could not have been better. If you're looking for a vet, go here!

Bond Vet - Union
2401 US-22, UnionWhat we like about the place:
-Vet technician Makayla(hope I spelled her name right :) was very cool and accommodating.
- Dr. Tedesco has a cheerful disposition in engaging us specially our fur baby and she immediately put us all at ease as she performs her physical test with our pup.
- Before going to the next steps after the diagnosis, Makayla showed us the cost for each of the care important to take note of including the cost. We had a fairly good idea of how much to pay unlike in our current provider, everything is at the end and the only choice is to pay! The price range for the ear infection consult including lab work and ear drop medication is between $140-$160. Because there is a limited promo for a free exam during the initial visit, it would have been over $200.
The place was clean, cute and cozy. Treats were of different sorts and lastly, we were out in as little as 30 minutes. Parking is convenient as well. They also offer annual membership for discounts and animal events.
We like them. 🙂🐶
