1932 E St Georges Ave, LindenI love Jersey diners. They are always pushing the envelope. I had to come over from Staten Island, and so I checked their online menu. I liked what I saw, so I had breakfast here. It was a large menu, including a very diverse selection of pancakes, as is their name. Just a nice diner vibe, and everybody was friendly and helpful. I decided to go for the loaded baked potato omelette. I had had a mashed potato omelette at another jersey diner, which I liked, so I decided to try this one. The omelette was fantastic. It had potatoes, bacon, cheese, and sour cream. Just like you'd find an a loaded baked potato. The eggs were tender, as were the potatoes, and all of the fillings played very well with each other. It was an absolute fantastic breakfast. As if I didn't need enough potatoes, it also came with home fries on the side, which were also tender and delicious. The coffee was very good, and they kept my cup full. The prices are reasonable, although there is a small up charge if you pay with plastic, instead of cash. They also offer a military/veteran discount. I would love to come back. Thank you.

Chevys Fresh Mex
1150 South Stiles Street, LindenWent to Chevys in Linden, NJ for a quick bite around 2:30 pm. There weren’t many people there at that time, and I sat in the bar area to eat. Ingrid was the bar tender and she also waited on me. She was very courteous, patient, and prompt. Everything was fresh and delicious, the chips & salsa, 2 Baja fish tacos, rice & beans, were all very tasty. It was a clean and pleasant atmosphere. I hadn’t been to a “Chevys” in over 15 years, but I’m glad I went. Great experience and good food. I will definitely be coming back.

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers
810 W Edgar Rd, LindenFreddy's is a bit on the pricier side of fast food, right? I havent really kept up with the burger chains and prices. Either way for the price I spent on their food when I use the drive thru, I cant argue it tastes pretty good when I get it. The art of the chicken sandwich matters a bit more to me than a burger, especially when its those smash burger types. Not a smash burger fan so the chicken sandwiches make me happy compared to the competition. And they got great milkshakes for that sweet tooth craving and well its a quality frozen dessert compared to other places and you gotta have a quality dessert in the hot months.
Another bonus was that the inside is a classic diner setup that one time I went in to eat, so Freddy's is cool in my book.
