The post office in Union New Jersey have sufficient workers and I have been mailing my mail there for 22 years now, they'll make sure that your packages get there on time, especially Vinny he have been working there for 23 years, nice people.

I had an important certified letter that was delayed for weeks. I visited the post office multiple times trying to locate it and stayed home all day waiting for the mail to be delivered, which was very stressful for me. Finally, I spoke directly with the supervisor, who helped me find the letter. He explained it had been sitting on a shelf the whole time - I guess the envelope was too small and no one looked carefully enough. Fortunately, the supervisor was very responsible and made sure I finally got it.
I want to say a huge thank you to Supervisor Adam and the two front desk ladies who were working the morning shift on June 28th at this location. The two ladies were patient and helpful. They listened carefully, took my phone number, and made sure my concern was passed directly to the supervisor. Adam, the supervisor, personally called me back, took responsibility, and made the effort to locate my letter himself.

Was just there worse place to go do your passport ever, i will give zero star really bad experience bad customer services. The two ladies one is indian and the other one is spanish before even approaching them in the front they give you the nasty look and attitude sitting in the front grabbing and pushing my paper info at me.They talk to people any way they want they are very disrespectful specially the indian one i think she's unhappy they choose who to be nice to and they laugh and making fun to do your passport.Why they have those kind of employees working there. I went to do my passport to another USPS their customer services were great not what i experience on usps in chestnut ave in union nj

Please, for the love of God, do not come here. The service, attitude, and incompetence of the employees here are abysmal. They do not give a crap about you. My wife and I scheduled an appointment 1 month in advance to go in person to submit paperwork to get our baby a passport. The USPS website says, when scheduling appointment online, that they provide picture services. They open at 10:00 am, our appointment was at 10:00 am. As soon as we get there, an employee tells us, “we don’t provide picture services here.” I tell her that online it says that you do. She replies, “we stopped doing it years ago.” I asked her, “why do you not update the website then? Everyday people are going to come here to submit paperwork for their passports and are going to get screwed.” I mean, if you are not going to provide the service that your website says you are supposed to, then at least give the people with appointments a call and let them know so they can come prepared! Either way, the website needs to be updated, but they probably won’t do it because they just do not care. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Typical attitude and service of a labor union employee, wants to get paid top dollar in return for doing the bare minimum possible or nothing at all. Very disappointing. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

the worst USPS by far, i wish i could give it a 0. I sent a huge package and it got lost in transit, waited for 3 weeks, then it took a long time to receive a card saying i only had 3 days to claim my money like 200$ even though everything was like 330. I went to the USPS of this location again, i think ive been here like 5 times. All for the manager with the weird name in her office to tell me the claim date has expired and no one can help me. What you guys doing, if this is a govertment job, please this place needs a lot of investigation and improvements.

If I could give this postal location one star, I would certainly do so.
No one is accountable for their incompetent actions and the manager seems to be MIA. Placing mail on hold during vacation seems to be a waste of time if the mail delivery person does not take the time to read instructions placed on their online website and the yellow card given directly to the window person.
Do Better or your jobs will certainly be heading to privatization.

There's walk in from 10am-11am for passport got here at 10:45am and told it's closed for the day. The person behind the counter said they close 15min early smh

Soon enough this USPS has to go out of business these employees are a bunch of lazy bums you pay for express it never gets there on time you try to get a refund they do not have the cash to give it back to you this is a joke and they act like you are working for them they always give you an attitude never respect you.

0 Stars not one. I dont think I have ever had so many issues with anything than I have with this ONE place. Ohhh my gosh. Nobody knows anything, nobody sticks to one policy, nobody can answer simple questions about my package, they have not left ONE notice for 16 packages held at their location- not.one.notice. I was refused pick up today because the address on my id was different than the package (name is the same!) which was not a problem the week prior when I went to pick up 7 packages for the same reason. The staff member clearly wanted to just clear out the line and get home- her and her coworker were passing a phone back and forth to each other talking about a story. booooo. lol. boo this whole place... do better my god.

Don’t call the 800 number for assistance. they can’t actually do anything for you. I put my package on hold, was sent to 2 different post offices only to find out that it was sent out for delivery again. They’re not sure where it is. Thank you for making the loss of my pet even worse by losing her ashes.
