“It's my first time strength training and I found this amazing place. Everyone is really friendly and they will make you feel comfortable. I am the lowest lifter in all the classes but you are welcome to do whatever best you can do . They push you a bit, show you the right technique! Weight lifters might already know this place but this is for new bees like me who wants to do strength training with age !”

“This place is a 5 simply because it’s the only gym in the area with a belt squat (I’ve looked) - if you’ve used one, you get it. It’s very clean, plenty of equipment curated by someone who gets it. (Compared to a big chain (PF style) - parking is easy, location is great right on BF. Never gets too busy. Make sure you check out their opening hours , only issue is early weekend close”

“Akt is absolutely amazing since I started and today my night was ruined I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken that they will be closing at the end of the month ... The entire team is absolutely amazing I will never find a gym like AKT again ....... Corporate ruins another busy I guess I hope all the ladies at AKT know how amazing they all are and how comfortable they have made it for many women to workout and learn ... “This gym has to be under new management because the difference is night and day. I've been coming here for a long time, and I've honestly never seen the staff clean the way they do now.

What really stood out to me was seeing the manager, I believe he said his name is Louis, spending a huge portion of the day cleaning equipment himself instead of just standing behind the front desk. He and another employee even took every single dumbbell off the rack, wiped down the entire rack, and swept up all the dust and residue underneath before putting everything back. I've never seen anyone take the time to do that, and judging by how spotless it looked afterward, it probably hadn't been cleaned that thoroughly in years.

It's refreshing to see leadership that genuinely cares about the members' experience instead of just focusing on selling more memberships. The gym feels cleaner, more welcoming, and better maintained than ever. If this is the standard under the new management, they're doing an incredible job. Keep it up!”
